Haven't seen them in about 10 years. When I did it was amazing. They had the crowd throw all their bottles and pizza boxes up in the air and it literally felt like it was raining garbage for half their set.

They were a night act on the Outdoor nine years ago only a couple of years after their popularity blew up. They aren't going to be at Coachella, but if they were, there isn't a chance in hell they are an afternoon act in the Mojave.

They're washed up, they would. I've seen way better bands reunite to play the Mojave in the afternoon

Got my ticket for the show on the 20th. Should be fun, I think I still have one of their cassette tapes from Jr High

Cake will be performing 2 sets a night during their upcoming Showroom of Compassion tour.

My wife and I are going to their show at the Fillmore on Valentine's Day. It should be quite the show.

That's your opinion. It doesn't mean you are right. Cake would NOT be an afternoon act in the Mojave.

Problem is, we won't get to prove how wrong you are because they won't be at Coachella.

- Their first album since 04
- All of their albums have been relatively successful
- They've been together for 20 years.
- They've experienced mainstream success since the mid-90's.

Afternoon in the Mojave my ass.

Had not seen that the Saturday show sold out. I wonder how much are left for the others 3 dates. I'm curious to see how much they will mix it up from night to night.

Plus they hate Coachella.

They were on The Outdoor. The got on late because of the act before them, and then the main stage totally drowned them out. They were not happy.

That's unfortunate, I've been listening to samples of their new album on their site. Sounds pretty funky

Fridays sold out as well. Sunday and Monday are still open for the time being.
