Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, and the Stone Foxes on April 14th...under a 5 hour drive from Coachella, I do believe.

Is this going to be their warm-up before playing at the festival?? :)

Mesa to Indio is about a 3.5 hour drive on I-10 going at a normal pace. It took me five hours to get to indio from Tucson and that's 1.5-2 hours from Mesa.

Sweet, even better. I'm in Tempe right now. FYI, helluva UofA/ASU game this year, friendo. :) haHA!

And as a newbie to this site... I see that apparently I'm going to have to act considerably cooler, as I'm apparently a bit out of touch and out of the scene. :-/ *sighing in my "Vote for Pedro" shirt* Glad I have nothing to prove these days.

Ahh well, I'd still enjoy seeing Black Keys and Cage... pretty sure rocking out would be had, and potentially, on a very special day, said rocking would occur with the c0ck out.

Re: Cage, you talking live, or recorded? I haven't heard any albums, but the 3 or so songs I've heard have intrigued me enough to steal their music soon. I could see them putting on an interesting show, or being a wasted mess on stage.

I've seen them live a couple times now. They are OK on record and same live. However there front man is crazy enough that it is a fun show to watch. That being said if they are there this year I will probably be skipping them.
