I heard from a good source that they are close to sealing the deal for 2011. One of the all time great classic bands and would be a perfect headliner in that most of the crowd would know and love all the songs, much like McCartney 2 years ago. I will definitely be attending if this is the case.

Please discuss.

Thanks to his Chevy sponsorship, Bob Seger rides in style.

I don't believe it for a second. Just surprised someone would even think it was a good idea...

I like Bob Seger a lot, really...but he's not headlining any festivals anywhere.

I've seen Bob Seger a lot over the years, even way back on his Smokin' OPs tour, where I witnessed him get escorted off stage for opening a Stroh's beer on stage after a cop warned him not to do so. He is considered one of the "classic" rockers out there, but I don't put him in the same catagory of, say, Paul McCartney or Roger Waters. I'm actually thinking he might work better for Stagecoach than Coachella, as I'm not sure what the typical Coachella crowd would make of him. Still, I'd go see him, though, if he was there. He is a consumate entertainer from the "classic rocker" days.

The kids today all love Farm Aid wave music.*

* This statement is in no way intended to reflect poorly on the singular awesomeness of Neil Young.

Orlando Calling.

Followed by Coachella 2012.

He also announce he will be doing a series of west coast dates.

Hope someone gets a screenshot video from Orlando. Pro-shot footage of Seger is rare as hen teeth.
