The moment I started driving home to LA after getting my face melted at this year's Coachella, I started thinking about 2011. It gets worse and worse every year. My mental obsession for Coachella has reached a critical state... and it's only November. Coachella is still another 5 months away!

Is it too early to start thinking about Coachella 2011?

On the entire half of the board, I'd like to thank you for making one of what is sure to be many useless threads declaring your excitement for next year.

Useless? Waddya mean useless? I just wasted like 2 minute of my workday reading and replying to this thread. This is a thread with purpose.
Also are we the other half of the board?

I am also very excited about Coachella 2011 and have been thinking about it since April 19th. :thu

$65... If I remember correctly, coachella 1 was $50... For Tool and Rage. At the time I was like "that's highway robbery!" now I'm like "wow that was a deal!"

I meant exactly what I said. Though I suppose I could fix my statement to say, "On the entire .10 percent of the board able to pick up on sarcasm, thanks for starting another thread commemorating your very own unique emotion about Coachella, you halfwit."

I haven't stopped talking about Coachella since leaving this year. The only thing that's changed over the last 7 months is that now, instead of straight up reminiscing about the last one, I'm organizing plans for the next.

I've received no fewer than half a dozen bruises on my arm from friends trying to get me to shut up.

So if it's wrong to be thinking about it now, fuck it... I don't want to be right.

I dont think any of us would be on this board if there was other shit on our minds. I think of Coachella every fucking day.

Serious QFT, I think "Coachella" comes out of my mouth every 10th word in normal, everyday conversation.......thankfully, my friends are not as punishing, but I can always tell when the "C" word gets old to them, ALTHOUGH I will say that 100% of said friends have not attended, so they wouldn't know anyways......

Not attending certainly factors in. If they had, well... they'd know. The one friend who HAS attended (partner in crime at Coachella 2010) can't shut up about it either.

Presale may come up again in December. I think it was the 14th last year. That will be the date I stop thinking about it and start obsessing, again.

Dude definitely not too early. I've been thinking about 2011 as soon as I drove home from 2010...My wristband and ticket are still by my bed right now, hahah.

Has anybody bought presale before? I'm really considering it this year but I'm sort of hesitant.

Also...Any idea of the chances of Daft Punk headlining?

Presale is the wrong term. It was lay-a-way on dec 14th last year. Regular tickets came out later, but I don't have the date. I've used lay-a-way the last two years and would not hesitate to do it again.
