Locust broke up :(

I agree with High On Fire though. Them and Wolves In The Throne Room are pretty acceptable among hipsters.

Personally I'd LOVE for Converge to play.

cant remember the last metal band I've purposefully had a listen to. In fact I dont have any metal in my massive computer music folder. Metal is just such a shite genre.

Iron Maiden would be cool

No. And Iron Maiden is my favorite band of all time, so it's not because I dislike them. I don't think Coachella is the place or the crowd for them.

A Perfect Circle, Gwar (It'd be fun to see them, and on a hot ass day pretty refreshing), Alice Cooper. Glassjaw isn't really metal but they could fill a spot on one day

Chromezeppelin

i wouldn't really call a perfect circle full blown metal. but i'm still way down for it

This is totally possible... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmdmnnv2NkY (Neurosis)

And maybe a little of this for good measure... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmsXYwrZxV8 (High on Fire)

And If i could wish for anything in this world it would be to see GWAR!!!! I missed them at B-Roo '10. Does anyone have any good feedback on their set? I haven't really heard anything about it.

Probably Neurosis, Converge or The Sword

Would love to get Godflesh/Jesu but that probably won't happen

A Perfect Circle would be cool but I don't really know if they count as metal.

System of a Down is a possibility.

Goddamn I hope not.

Those 3 are all very good possibilities. I would LOVE Jesu but Broderick doesn't really like touring at all, let alone playing at festivals. Plus, he's more focused on his electronic stuff right now.

Actually he's probably focusing on the Godflesh reunion. I couldn't really see Sunn O))) or Neurosis doing Coachella, they take a lot of pride in their live shows and seem to need a lot of control over them. Sunn O))) is also curating Roadburn the same weekend so they're out.
