New 'Big Brother' contestant from Riverside County

DESERT SUN WIRE SERVICES • JULY 7, 2010

Brendon Villegas, a Jurupa Valley High School assistant swimming coach, will be among the 13 houseguests on the CBS competition series “Big Brother,” whose 12th season begins Thursday, with a new twist.

“Big Brother” host Julie Chen described the 30-year-old Villegas as having “big muscles” and “not bad to look at in swim trunks for the summer.”

Villegas said he has been asked if he will start a “showmance” with another houseguest.

“I'm not going to lie,” Villegas said. “I like a beautiful girl with big boobs, nice butt and a great body and all that, but that's not the girl I'm kind of scared of. I'm kind scared of the girl who's sweet, down to earth and genuinely a good person.”

During Thursday's premiere, the houseguests will discover that one of them is not really there to win the game, but rather to sabotage their fellow players, a first in the history of the series, which follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day.

The Saboteur's identity will be revealed to viewers July 15, but will remain a secret to the houseguests. The Saboteur will receive a financial reward if he or she is able to make it to the halfway point of the game.

Following the premiere, “Big Brother,” will air three nights weekly -- Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, all from 8-9 p.m. A houseguest will be voted out during each Thursday show.

The last remaining houseguest will receive $500,000.
