Depending on the cost of track admission I may need to go to the B-52s show. Their shows are always so fucking expensive when they come around.

I really wanted to go to the Jimmy Cliff show, but it's same weekend as Outsidelands. I hope Jimmy Cliff gets added to Outsidelands. Ozomatli day looks fun also, same for weezer. The track admission I remember being 6 or 10 bucks.

Common Sense???? WTF? This is some band I've never heard of, the rapper didn't go back to his old name, right?

Check out the English Beat, especially if you liked The Specials at coachella. I saw them recently and they were fucking awesome. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen this year. They still have it.

liquidsnake - Common Sense is a SoCal reggae/rock band (think Sublime) that goes back to the 90's. They had a pretty big fan base when I was in SD in the mid to late 90's and have played the Del Mar summer series many times. Music is nothing spectacular, but their live shows are always enjoyable.

I'd insert a youtube clip I found from Del Mar 2008, but I'm not remotely tech savvy enough. :)

Del Mar actually has dank drinks, and I am so deeply in love with the sound system and quality of free fucking music, I go to at least one show every year.

Who caught the Lips last year? :D

I'll probably try to make it out to that one just for shits and giggles. Weezer is a big step up for this concert series, should be fun. Hopefully they don't intentionally botch it like Coachella 2005.

Too bad they didn't get shit for the fair this year...Guy Fieri? What the fuck does this guy do, either musically or comically? If he cooks on stage and throws food at the crowd, then I'd see him.

Yeah, me and my friends go to at least one show a year, usually the reggae ones because we're all stoners.

Here's a tip to get in free without paid admission: Arrive just as the last race is ending and before the band comes on. Usually the ticket takers are done for the day at this point and the gates are wide open. But then again, horse racing is a fucking blast so I like to make a day of it.
