Australia's 'Thunder from Down Under' is always entertaining. If you can only fit one show in your schedule. Prices are pretty reasonable right now too.

Afraid you are stuck with Crosby, Stills and Nash or Tracy Morgan at The Joint-both have tickets available. Las Vegas tends not to pick up so many artists touring this time of year since most artists are touring outdoor venues.

Well, in terms of an actual concert/show, I agree with what tigermilkboy said...however, depending on what you're into, there's local shit going on:

Friday: It's First Friday weekend (local artscene thing), so there's a couple different options:
Thunderbird Lounge inside the Aruba Hotel (on LV BLVD)

Down the street, within walking distance(ish) of the Aruba...this is the area in which First Friday takes place..
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=118198094861995&ref=mf (I think you hafta log in to see info for this one..basically there's random bands earlier, then later on some decent DJs take over..)

On Fremont Street, there's Brass Lounge (in the huge pint glass, on top of Hennessey's Irish Pub)..buncha DJs playing new wave/darkwave/indie/dark 80's/etc..this is usually free with cheap well drinks/drink specials...

Beauty Bar has the Get Back which is funk/70's/groovy type music (hipster hang out)..don't remember if there's a cover here, there most likely is..

Saturday: Gypsy's Night Club (on Paradise, down the street from the Hard Rock Hotel) hosts GhostMachine, playing goth/industrial/synthpop.. $10 all you can drink wells, $1 drafts.. no cover

umm...80's cover band, the Spazmatics are playing at the Southpoint casino..they're pretty good/fun to see..

Ehhh....can't think of anything else for Saturday off the top of mines head!

Sunday: Transcendence...another gothy/industrial situation..no cover, 8pm-2am, hosted by Choices Pub 6720 Cheyenne ave..

Send me a message if ya need further info on anything I posted above or if you have any other questions :-)

When I saw CSN last weekend in Rancho Mirage, I almost fell asleep. I needed to see them once while they were still around, but now I can move on. Ha.
