I drove after all if anyone needs a ride. I really don't care when we all meet up. FYI I'm down for the bar meetup.

I can't find my tent. Grrr. Oh well. I'll just bring 20 layers of blankets n sech.

Are you planning on sleeping in the car or something? You can't sleep outside without a tent at Sasquatch. Rain likely, and definitely cold at night.

I'll sleep in a car if I can't find my tent.

This reminds me of last year when Tommy slept in the car....you know, once we got it unlocked after I left the keys in the ignition and he got out of the car and it auto-locked.

That weekend was difficult for our rental cars.

But yea, to anyone else who is thinking of skimping on tents or sleeping bags, don't, you will not sleep well.

I'm listening to the MMJ Bonnaroo bootleg right now... they do an awesome James Brown cover. Unexpected.

Do you like the 15-minute versions of "Steam Engine" and "Dondante" that they did that night, Matt? I would like to see them stretch those things to 20 minutes each at Sasquatch.

One day!

So we are definitely doing breakfast, yes? What should I pick up (will be doing some grocery shopping Friday night).

What sorts of cooking accessories will we have? Pancakes are tempting. If you get some bread, eggs, milk, cheese, bacon, and sausage then I think that has all the makings of a great breakfast. You don't have to get everything, Heidi. I need to stop at the store on Friday night, so we can divide the list or something.

Also for those of us going to Wild Horse, were we planning on giving the campground owners a heads-up that we all want to try to camp next to each other?

Do we have a tentative car count? Looks like about 8-9 cars? (including Holly and Aimz who aren't on the Page 1 list).

I thought someone said they were going to either call or e-mail wildhorse and give them a heads up. Wasn't that you? lol If you like I can send an e-mail or give them a call. I just need some help wording specifically what we are asking them to do for us.

Yes, I said when we had a vehicle count I would... that's why I keep asking :)

I can throw a frying pan or two in the car if we think there is a need.

Rage & I are stopping for groceries on the way out of Seattle; I'm sure someone has already mentioned where is a good place to stop but can you remind me ?

Do we need a gas stove? If so, Becky and I can bring one. I think a couple people already said they are bringing them... but I am offering just in case.

Ahem, Heidi....

Sorry, Tommy, I wasn't ignoring you :)

I don't know what cooking accessories we have. Holly had mentioned bringing some pans but I don't know if she remembered. Checking...

And yes to dividing the shopping list, just let me know what I need to pick up. Or we could even all hit the store together. Though that seems to end up taking several times as long as it should.

If anyone I know needs to borrow a tent, sleeping bag, pillow, air mattress..etc etc. Let me know and I can bring it to you when you get to Seattle. I'd love a chance to see some Coachella faces :winkiss

Do you have a double or queen size air mattress? :D I could use one. Might be renting some camping gear from REI if I can in Seattle.

I think i'm good. I have Scott's small tent and some blankets that Kate is bringing. Unless I tell them both to forget it and just get a tent and a sleeping bag from you. That may make things easier. Are you sure it won't be a hassle for you janelle?

Holly does not have cookware (and has already left home). Would someone be able to bring cooking implements?

And I'm realizing I'm in serious denial about how much stuff I"m going to be able to pack for glas-kilde

Work was ridiculous today and I forgot to call the campground! I can give them a ring in the morning, unless the first people there (brian? aimz?) just want to mention it to them.

rage patton

Perhaps just try calling them now?

In case anyone hasn't left yet, I'm in a motel room in Quincy and it is rainy out there. It's not raining right now but it was raining hard when I got here. Tomorrow is a forty percent chance of rain and Saturday some AM showers. Just thought I'd give a heads up. Also, it's pretty damn cold out.
