I was so spent for DEVO but made it through 6 songs. Superb video loops & editing. I'm sure Mark produced all of the crazy videos. I will see them every chance I get.

I saw the whole set, was wearing an energy dome and dancing around, what a great set, Gates of steel was a great way to close the set...

Got there a little late, did they play "gut feeling"? They rocked!

I really, *really* liked the new songs! I completely didn't expect that.

Devo was great....the little banter with the "are we men?" "we are devo!" was awesome.....so was the crowd craziness for uncontrollable urge....and no gut feeling....they did a shortened set than what they have been doing.....it would have made a great encore

Anyone who left after 6 songs didn't get the whole experience. They basically did two separate sets, one of new material with some of their dancier/poppier stuff, and then another set (with a costume change into the old suits) of the harder edged early stuff.

First half had (might be the wrong order) Don't Shoot (I'm A Man), Peek-A-Boo, Fresh, That's Good, What We Do, Girl U Want, Jerkin Back N Forth (I think), Whip It, and one I couldn't identify.

Ending the first half with Whip It and a rather weak new song almost seemed designed to clear the casual fans out, though it certainly didn't empty...just got less crowded. Then we got Uncontrollable Urge, Mongoloid, Satisfaction, Secret Agent Man, Jocko Homo, Smart Patrol/Mr DNA and Gates Of Steel.

Gut Feeling would have made it just about perfect, but oh well.

it looked like a lot of fun, but we could only take a few songs. the lights were a bit seiziurish though and our eyes were fryed already from all the lights we'd seen earlier and the day before, so we left early. i'd like to catch them again some day though.

Yes, that was the best set, and Les Claypool. At least for me.

Thom Yourke was awesome also.

I thought they were superb. I wasn't sure what to expect from them because their music demands a certain level of energy and Mothersbaugh & Co. are getting on in years, but they really brought it. My favorite act from Saturday (along with Edward Sharpe) and easily one of the best of the whole weekend. "Uncontrollable Urge" was the highlight for me.

I agree with you completely, finkley. So. much. fun. And I literally woke up on Sunday morning with "Uncontrollable Urge" running through my head.

I had to leave after Whip It.

Uncontrollable Urge must have been perfectly tight.

Devo was in my top 3. Sofuckinggood.

FYI, most of those video clips are ancient stuff. There's a Devo DVD where you can see most of the in their entirety.

Setlist according to my notes:

Don’t Shoot
Peek-A-Boo
What We Do
Man Turned Inside Out
Fresh
That’s Good
Girl U Want
Whip It
Planet Earth
(Narrated Interlude)
Satisfaction
Secret Agent Man
Uncontrollable Urge
Mongoloid
Jock Homo
Smart Patrol/Mr. DNA
Gates of Steel
