I keep seeing the ads on TV, but there are none out west. Has anyone gone before? Good? Bad?

Ok, so I've been seeing the ad's a lot recently as well. But I've never actually seen any here in California. Are they going to be building some soon or something?

in Tampa Cici's pizza is a pretty gross buffet-style pizza joint where it's like $3.99 for all-you-can-eat.

mostly it's full of children on sports teams post-game or youth groups.

which means lots of loud and lots of snot.

I've been seeing ads here in Vegas too. None here. Check their website and there's no "opening soon" locations in the west coast either.

Not the greatest pizza in the world, but also not terriblefor the price. You can get the buffet for under 5 bucks in most places.

It's all you can eat pizza. There's nothing else you need to know. If you weren't able to form an opinion of the establishment based on that factoid alone, you need to reconsider your breathing schedule.

Just like those c0ck-tease Sonic commercials here in SoCal. As much as I want some tater tots with cheese and a cherry limeade, I ain't driving to AZ to get 'em.

I have never been there, but I love the Rusty's Pizza down Ming. When we go, we get a 25 or 50 pack of hot wings, and a small or medium pizza. They have the best hot wings. Where is Cataldo's? downtown?

Sonic is good, they have them in Cali. I know of 4 in Bakersfield, and 1 in Tulare. I think there is some in Fresno, but I can't think of where. If anyone is driving down to Coachella from Northern Cali or above you should hit one up. The one in Tulare is just off the 99 by the outlet mall. In Bakersfield, there is one right off the 99 on Olive (oildale), and I believe the other easy one to get to is off of White Lane. Sonic has the good ice, a diet coke with extra cherry fruit is good. There breakfast burritos are not bad at all, neither is their burgers. Blended rootbeer floats are good too.

When you come out to Cali try the California Pizza Kitchen. The Garlic Chicken or BBQ Chicken pizzas are really good.

CiCi's pizza is awesome. They always have a ton of different pizzas out, and pizza is good even when it's bad..i love pizza. except with onions. I also love the bbq chicken pizza at cpk also.

If the only pizza you like is 'gourmet' pizza then you're a nerd.

If you want to go to some meth-lab border town, I believe there was one in El Centro, CA.

Sonic and CiCi's are both in Virginia and neither is anything to write home about.

I wish California had Golden Corral instead of Hometown Buffet because it's infinitely better.

Cici's is actually pretty passable - especially in comparison to anybody else in the "all you can eat for under six bucks" running.

If all else fails - they have fuckin TREMENDOUS cinnamon rolls. Greasy as AC Slater but still pretty awesome.

We can get beer on sundays. The only thing thats different about sunday than every other day is that the liquor store is closed. They sell beer in all stores and gas stations 7 days a week so you just cant buy liquor or wine on sundays, but if you plan ahead this isn't a problem.

Some people I work with went up/over there and were sol. My friends did not know about the restrictions, and were not able to buy any. Maybe it was just the stores by them, or something. What time do they stop selling? In Cali its 2am.

The liquor stores close at 10:00 pm weekdays and saturday, closed sundays

Beer goes on sale at 5:00 am and goes off sale at 1:00 am in all grocery stores and gas stations

Last call at bars is 1:00 am, and you have to be out by 2:00 am

I know it is, BUT a lot of people are not from the bigger cities that have cpk. There is also a lot of people coming from other countries. Therefore, when they come to Cali for Coachella, they should go to a cpk. There is even a thread about doing things in LA, because they have a lot of extra time/days on their hands. Got it?

If anybody's in the seattle area and wants to pick up a slice of the best pies in town, check out pagliacci pizza. I work at one, and they're a great company. At the kenmore location, we listen to the music that we want, and have a lot of fun, while still producing Seattle's favorite pizza (as voted by the readers of Seattle weekly for the 20th year in a row).
