So, silly me, I booked a flight and hotel room and am left with no ticket to the fest because it's sold out.

I have a room at the Royal Plaza Inn Friday, Saturday and Sunday that I will probably be selling if I don't find a ticket by tomorrow. It's a little over $200 a night -- the hotel will charge you, not me. We'd just have to switch the reservation from my name to yours.

Please PM if you're interested.

You can still buy tickets. Just not from Ticketmaster.

But it has "royal" in the name, Marco.

the one thing I've learned from staying @ places for Coachella is if it has "royal" in it's name or tries to make itself sound fancy, it's usually the opposite.

Royal Imperial Windsor Arms Hotel.

I never said it was fancy. Take what you will from the name -- I was just going to use it as a place to sleep and shower. It's no resort, but it is a room available and they have shuttles leaving the hotel every hour that will take you to the festival, which is around $15 for all three days. They also provide transportation from the Palm Springs Airport if you need it.

Royal Plaza is a great location for the festival. It has a bar onsite with a reputation for heavy pours, a pool, a restaurant AND cafe, AM/PM and CVS right across the street, it's going to be packed with Coachella folks, and considering the shuttle, this is just about the best place you could stay. No, it's not a five star hotel, probably not even a three, but it ain't Motel 6 on Indio Blvd. neither.

I agree with DFrank though, DONT GIVE UP!

relax man, I wasn't giving you a hard time. I just remembered some of the shit holes I've stayed @ before. Hope everything works out for you.

Do you think theres even a chance of me getting a ticket Friday? I wont be arriving until 5pm, probably won't be at the fields until 6 or 7. I'm coming from NY alone, so I don't want to go all the way out there and not get in -- OR pay $600 for a ticket. I'm still trying but if I don't have any secured by tomorrow, I might call this one a bust.

At least the hotel didn't make the top ten worst although the Desert Lodge did sneak in there ... BTW, depending on how you google, a "Royal" hotel came up twice as the worst hotel in the world
