TRUE STORY: I just returned home this past weekend after spending the past year on deployment. I never expected to make it back home in time for Coachella, but caught some fortunate breaks flying space-a out of theater.

I am thankful just to be back safe, of course, but would be eternally grateful to someone who could sell me an extra ticket to Coachella, for face value plus shipping or delivery. Coachella would be the perfect way to re-assimilate back to normal life among my fellow music-lovers.

I have attended 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 Coachella festivals. I missed last year's and fully expected to miss this years except for a lucky break. You would make this vet very happy if you could sell me your extra ticket.

Please reply/PM me here or call me at 949-233-9951. My name is Jon. I live in OC and am willing to drive as far as LA if nec.

fuck man, I reallly hope someone helps you out. if I had an extra, I'd sell it to you for less than face.

someone! do the right effing thing, and HELP THIS GUY OUT!

if you end up getting a ticket and need somewhere to crash onsite, let me know either in this thread or via PM.

I'm not american, so I can't claim the whole help-the-troops patriotism thing, but I still feel this oerwhelming urge to help out anyone who just got done with a year of guns, sand, and anxiety, and wants to unwind at coachella.

If worse comes to worse, show up on Friday morning and buy from someone there who has an extra ticket. You should be able to get one that way.

How about Coachella steps up and gives this man a free pass to be picked up at will call (after verifying his military status)?

Well, the OP could not get a ticket. That's pretty messed up.

We've done many Coachellas since 2001, but not 2010.

Really, Golden Voice...you couldn't cut one ticket for a vet?
That's weak sauce.

Start the countdown for 2011...

GV did a terrible job this year. There's bad luck at the same time (artists canceled due to volcano) The vet could not get a ticket makes it even worst. But if the sold out was manipulated, you had it coming.

It's hard to believe at this economics they can sell more tickets and ppl can really afford so much money for concerts.
