Does anyone know of any likely artists to be added?

I've seen the list of previous artists and they seem pretty awesome, but I don't know whether they have successful artists or underground artists or what?

Even though I really like Rage, I'd appreciate it if there were other artists to enjoy.

the norcal show last year was at sleep train amphitheatre in concord and the show was awful. the venue sound was terrible all day. wu tang, black star, de la soul, del, living legends, immortal technique all of them were good but the venue sound was cutting in and out and it ruined the whole day for me. they didnt even serve alcohol! if its at a different venue this year i'll go. hopefully something cool like golden gate park but im probably dreaming.

If you thought rage fans were shits at coachella imagine them at this gig...a lot of bored faces during some serious hip hop headliners....how annoying.

hmmm.. i was expecting some rage fans to be stupid.. but I didn't really notice any of that..

I mean, i am a rage fan, but I would have gone to Coachella regardless of Rage.

Same with Rock the Bells...Rage or no Rage...RTB is DOPE. Though I HIGHLY suggest getting the VIP tix...the shade alone is worth it at NOS...not sure about the other venues...

I got tickets for both cali shows. I'm almost as hyped up about seeing epmd and mf doom just as much as rage. It would be nice if gangstarr or dj q-bert was added. I seen them at previous coachellas and thought that I need to see them again.

i thought this was the rumoured lineup for the big names:

Beastie boys
Eminem
Snoop dogg
Ice cube
A tribe called quest
Reverand Run

plus add about 12-24 more groups......

Sushov23
04-02-2008, 04:27 PM
not Eminem, people would want to burn down RTB if it was him. He doesn't have the street cred for RTB.

At least it is at the NOS center and not at Glen Helen like last year.

FUCK Glen Helen & the cops that worked that shit last year.

Spent like 3 FUCKING HOURS trying to get out of that goddamn place.

Ended up off-roading out of the venue and getting stopped by a pig on a power-trip who didn't let me go for another hour while I sat there.

I will NEVER go back to ANY show there EVER.

Sushov23
04-02-2008, 04:50 PM
glen helen was pretty whack actually. I really blame it on selling too many tickets. There was something like 60,000 people there. That is way too much.

Beasties dont play any of the old shit anymore because they think it sends the wrong message.

it's prodigy from MOBB DEEP

Beasties dont play any of the old shit anymore because they think it sends the wrong message.

they recently have brought back into their set, Rhymin & Stealin... but they need more... they usually only do 1 Pauls Boutique track (Shake your rump)... They need to play more sets like this

1. Jimmy James
2. Shake Your Rump
3. Pass The Mic
4. It's The New Style
5. Egg Raid On MoJo
6. Screaming At A Wall
7. Transit Cop
8. In 3's
9. Stick 'Em Up
10. Live At PJ's
11. Stand Together
12. Posse In Effect
13. Egg Man
14. High Plains Drifter
15. Hello Brooklyn
16. Finger Lickin' Good
17. Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun
18. Rhymin' And Stealin'
19. Gratitude
20. Pow
21. Namaste
22. Time For Livin'
23. We Will Not
24. Michelle's Farm
25. The Maestro
26. Slow And Low
27. Skills To Pay The Bills
28. So What'Cha Want

shakermaker113
04-03-2008, 08:02 AM

that would make a lot more sense.

Please do a midsize venue headlining tour instead of Rock The Bells. You can charge whatever but please I don't want to see you in a parking lot following Cypress Hill.

Ever since The Eminem show, he has fallen off hard. He went way to commercial. The last album, and a lot of the eminem show are whack.

I thought both the Eminem Show and Encore were strong albums. With songs like Squaredance, Sing for the Moment, When the Music Stops, Yellow Brick road, and Rain Man. But that is just my opinion.

more than likely, out of those 3 rumored headliners, I at least hope ATCQ, and the Beastie Boys pans out. It just means like too much star power for a fest of this size. So if one does happen I will be happy.
