i hope it doesn't rain. It's super cold, windy, and starting to get wet in the San Fernando Valley right now.

same here.

also, all you idiots hoping for it to be in the 80s...you know that also means it will be really cold at night, right? no thanks! give me scorching heat any day if it means the night will be perfect.

won't rain...too far south and inland.

and ransom, it's always cold at night in the desert. colder when the days are hotter. won't get into the science here, but it's fact. forecasting 60's at night. one layer is all you'll need.

10 day forecast still has not spiked into the mid 90s yet. It usually happens by now. Here's hoping for 80 degree days all weekend (officially would make Coachella heaven).

The heat has never bothered me, or kept me from enjoying my Coachella, but the 80's is prime weather I must say. We'll see I guess.

(Cold nights at Coachella are torture though.)

Weather's looking good. Part of me wants to show my virgin friends just how hot Coachella can get, but this sounds really pleasant.

it really needs to be about 88-90 for it to be comfortable..

it's gonna be cold as fuck at night.

I don't think so. It's saying it's gonna be close to 60 degrees at night. It's always close to 60 degrees at night for Coachella.

A normal 40-degree drop from 100 to 60 degrees is cold. A 20-degree drop this year will be much easier to deal with.

Would 91 be ok for your delicate ecosystem?

High 50s cold at night? My house isn't much warmer than that. Flannel pajama pants and a hoodie will have me covered.

I wonder how much money will be lost in water revenue if the temperature remains in the mid 80s all weekend.

Who honestly buys more than one bottle of water? Refill stations and grabbing empty bottles is the way to go.

Yeah, because you really drink a lot less water when it's like 5 degrees cooler.

Thom Yorke is probably joyfully doing his flailing dances in celebration of all this right now.

I do. I would rather spend $2 than stand in line or scour for empty bottles and use those saved minutes watching a band.

Exactly, people look at the line and then walk away. I can't say I've ever been late to a band due to the water line.

I agree with this. I don't like the idea of it possibly being only 10 degrees warmer in Indio than it will be in Minneapolis next weekend. But then again, my gripe is more with Minneapolis having nice weather while I'm gone. I like it to be rainy and miserable while I'm gone, so I feel like I'm "escaping that"

Even if it rains, it would only be a tiny sprinkle, usually very refreshing out here in the desert. It won't be miserable because the valley already as had a record rainfall so far.

Maybe different people are comfortable in different weather. Idiot. Give me comfort all day while i'm watching music and i'll get under my sleepoing back and have a sweatshirt at night.
