'10 x '30 - 300 Sq. Ft.
The contents of a three-bedroom home fits here, or businesses can use this space as a construction or retail mini-warehouse.

Unless you have a car & 1 person tents then you will have a lot of room. If you have a Toyota 4Runner and a 10X8X? or something similar then your not going to have this vast space to pile up your friends in.

thats why you do it in the driveway, mark 25' with a rock and then measure another 5'.

I actually am coming in a Toyota 4-Runner (1996). It's 14x5 ft. I also have a 10x10 canopy and a 6x8 tent. I think that will give me enough room to spaciously lounge.

Fascinating. Now I know what someone means when they say "Sooo, you wanna check out my input shaft? Give it the old 'worm and spur'?" at the campgrounds. Good to know.

we can bring boats? that's not on the faq.Hmmm. Maybe there is a moat around the roller rink which the boat zooming along in it will have a line training it pulling lucky rollerskaters. Some people are going to get clotheslined, there's just no doubt about it. This should all definitely be in the FAQ.

i measured out 10x30 on my lawn, parked my car on it, and set up all my shit. was perfect. had not near enough room at Coachella, thank god for awesome neighbors moving and giving us there space, in trade for the shade they didn't bring. great trade.

I lived like a damn king with 3 spots. :)
Had a 2 bedroom condo, with kitchen in one. 10x10 Coleman Gazebo in another.. and more tents in the next spot.

All of it had shade because I brought a shitload of tarps/zip-ties/clamps. Slept comfortably every night because the tarps covering my tents were keeping the light out.

I feel so bad for the folks who got raped hundred$ on a camping spot. They musta shit themselves when they saw their lil 20x7 they paid 600-800 for.

I got offered $400 at the entrance for one of mine.

whats funny is that i didn't pay a cent! And got a HUGE area! I got screwed over with the people i went with-- had no room for my friends and I in car camping....so we walked right over to tent only and WAM! we had a huge area all to ourselves and my car was in international parking right next to tent only and none of us payed a cent. Totally sucks for those who got ass raped for the small fucking sardine of a spot in car/tent area.

we were supposed to meet someone who was super late as it was getting dark anyways and we paid $200 right by the security check for a hard ticket. totally shocked it was real and it was between 4 people

vogina
04-22-2010, 05:49 PM
What none of us anticipated was the lack of area in between the 10X30 spots. I.E- the space between parked cars in a parking lot..not so much.

I was roasting this past year. It was impossible to sleep past 7 or 8 am due to the heat. I'm thinking about investing in a canopy with walls, or getting a hotel room which I have done in the past. I like the convenience of walking to my tent and passing out after the headliners and not having to search for my car and drive all the way out to Palm Springs. My question is, can you fit a 10 x 10 tent underneath a 10 x 10 canopy with walls?

LyricsForTheMind
11-26-2010, 11:29 AM
No, you wont be able to do that....you need a bigger canopy or a smaller tent.
