These were my all-time holy grails, and I found them over the weekend. Listen to how loud this shit is.

Give me a sec.

Okay, I'm mildly retarded and can't embed the videos. If someone could do that for me, that would be great. Or teach me. Thanks.

There's a good site with a whole bunch of MBV bootlegs and music videos. Maybe we're thinking of the same one?

THAT equals sign. The stuff in italics goes in the (YT)...(/YT) space.

Thanks Mike. And yes, it's an Italian one.

Thank you Tom for the explanation.

Nice one. I saw Bob Mould & band in Oct '05 in a small club here in PDX. Very loud, very intense, very good. He played 3 Sugar tracks right from the gun. Played some Husker Du stuff as well. He had Brendan Canty (Fugazi) on the drums that night too.

He needs to reunite Sugar.

He needs to be added to the lineup ........ it's on his blog that he is going to be at Coachella anyway. Why not add to him to the bill ?

andrew you should get him to do a guest appearance on your radio show.

When he played here, I was standing beside him in the crowd watching the support act. Real down to earth guy by the looks of things though I didn't bother him to say Hi or for a photo.

Same with David Gedge when The Wedding Present played here and with Will Sargeant of Echo & The Bunnymen when they came through town.

I've actually thought about asking various people, including Guy Blakeslee from Entrance (because he lives in Laurel Canyon). I've also thought about trying to put a show together. The thing is, I contact a lot of these people through Myspace, where my profile is my band's, and I think a lot of them think that I just want them to listen to my group. I should probably create another profile for asking people. And I don't know the first thing about putting on a show, so that is out for the time being.

I'm pissed I skipped Bob Mould at ACL in '05 for... I can't even remember. Fiery Furnaces maybe? It was either them or the Decemberists. If it was the former, I'm mad at myself; I'm OK with the latter.

The one thing that the Sugar video didn't capture was how clean their sound was.The reason I always put a show I saw them do early on in my Top 5 of all time was the sheer clean focus and sharpness of their set.
For a good example get "Beaster"(the first EP)take it to some Audiophile electronics place, put on "JC Auto" on their finest audio sound setup, crank it to the highest possible volume, and that's what their sound was like(at least when I saw them).
Bob Mould is JC.

I hate you for seeing them Breakjaw. I really do. And that description was almost too much. Seriously, one day I am going to pick your brain about it. Is that okay?
