Jclemy had a camping pass for sale. Rather than sell it at some huge markup and make some extra money for his honeymoon, he sold it at face value to LocaChica73, so she won't have to haul her gear around with her broken leg.

If you are a friend of Audra's you know how important this was to her. I think we should make it up to him.

Enter "Clemens, Jeff" and buy him and his bride-to-be a gift card. Even $5 is cool if enough of us do it. Be careful though, I'm not sure what the exchange rate is from US to Canadian dollars. :)

Jeff is a pretty cool guy and everything, but he's going to get rewarded for NOT scalping? Am I reading this correctly?

Yes

Lowfront should get rewarded also, he just wanted a ride to Indio for the camping ticket.

Yeah, you'd be one to pass judgement on scalping.

Seriously, fuck this place.

Thanks. The draw of the money was tempting and the people who were being dicks made me want to charge them. I'm happy with this arrangement. You don't need to send anything. Just luck cause we're getting married in Vegas.

If your interested in donating to fight cancer my friend Steph us fundraising here

I know a guy who will buy him a lemonade. You just have to find him.

malcolmjamalawesome

A free lemonade is absolutely more acceptable of a gift for this than any of us buying this fuck a gift card.

Instead of donating $5 or buying a lemonade with a roofie in it to anyone, I'll just wear a Totoro shirt to the festival in JClemy's honor.

Sheesh. I just know how tempting money could be if you were about to get married, and he bypassed some offers to help out a board regular who needed it. All you have to do is ignore it if you don't give a shit.

And now that he's asked for donations to cancer research instead, that means everyone who was a cunt about it is going to get cancer. So good luck with that.

You fucking hippie. He shouldn't fucking ASK for anything. He helped a friend out. The reward is intrinsic. It's not like he's some down on his luck victim of crazy circumstances that lost his house to a natural disaster or something. He just didn't scalp when he could have.

I didn't kick that drunk homeless guy on the way home. He was just totally laying there, too. Can I have a cookie?

And maybe Sparks, but I haven't made my mind up yet.

He shouldn't fucking ASK for anything. He helped a friend out.

He didn't ask for anything, that's the fucking point. I asked HIM if he was registered for wedding gifts, because I wanted to get him something for helping MY friend out. He turned down a better offer to help someone who needed it more. Sad to say, but in this world, that makes him a better person than most.

Actually yes. The whole rewarding for being a decent human being aspect. Is this place so fully of shitty people that we have to call out every good deed?

I think we'd take it a little more seriously if he gave it to her or sold it at a discount. But seeing that he sold it at face value was anticlimactic. That's what he SHOULD be doing. Maybe he should get a "oh, that's nice of him" from everyone. Or maybe not since he started a thread looking to scalp the ticket. All in all, it just seems over the top for selling something at face value.

This reminds me of the animal TCHY took in voluntarily and then asked for people to help pay the bills when he realized he couldn't afford it.

I scalped two tickets to DMB one year for 800 and I felt bad for weeks...

M Sparks
03-30-2010, 07:20 AM
(mja wins the argument)

:lool OK, OK, but that was afterward. And it was asking people NOT to send him gifts.

Whatever. He's a good guy and he's getting married, and I'm getting him a wedding gift. Just ignore it if you have a problem with that.

I sold a Faith No More ticket to a S.F. show to Stinkbutt at face value just a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty cool.

Pay pal me cash for being extra great.....

I would rather see someone pointing out good deeds than bad. I find it funny that some of you people will argue about anything. My mom use to be like that so when she would get in one of her moods I would say... you know mom, you're right, you're always right, even if I could prove you wrong, you would still be right. Some of you are a lot like her in that respect. Scary.

I don't want a reward. Marc was just being a nice guy. I'm really happy that I decided not to be greedy and that's why I posted the link to donate to help fight cancer.

I'm not going to apologize for asking you guys to donate to fighting cancer. C'mon. I was planning on posting that anyways but this seemed like a good place to put it.

That's more than 3 times $240 worth of pudding!

If we could reward someone for being the voice of reason, MJA would likely be up to his neck in pussy and jewels.
