Would it be safe to buy a camping pass like this on ebay or is it probably a scam?

Are you really going to shell out 400 dollars for a camping pass?

This isnt for me but my sister and her friends are desperate. Divided up amongst them it isnt that steep.

I would say don't buy the electronic ticket. Look for a hard copy.

Yeah, never buy any ticket online unless it's a hard ticket. Online tickets can easily be replicated and multiple ones can be sold. Especially since they are going for such a high price.

tough call with the e tickets

and tough call cause this guy doesn't have THAT much feedback, and hasn't used his account much at all in the last year. And the fact that he's selling a shit load of these tickets.

Most likely its fine.

But if i were to get etickets, I would look for a bit more feedback on the member, and without soooo many of the same ticket being sold.

But at the same time, he seems like the guy that bought out the last of em, so do what ya gotta do, you could always just arrive early as hell to make sure yours is the legit one.

Okay i think ill pass on the e-ticket buying then.

Anyone know the best thing for my sister and her friends to do? There is about 10 of them, none of them bought a camping pass or hotel so they have coachella tickets with no place to stay, but they are determined to go. I dont think any local campsites are open and there are no vacancies for hotels within 30 miles.

Agree the electronic ticket isn't the best but I don't understand what lowfront is talking about. Don't think he's looking at the same listing - you're talking about the guy from Iowa selling one extra ticket, 100% positive feedback, no other items listed right?

even hard tickets can be replicated. all it takes is the original buyer saying the ticket was lost and ticketmaster reissuing a new ticket while voiding the original, which the person can then scam someone with.

Looking on Craigslist, there are people that still have houses for rent available. One guy has a house for $800; that's what people are paying for camping.Maybe check them out?

Also, the Salton Sea campgrounds has some RV spots open.
Lake Skinner has some spots
Rancho Juropa has two spots
Anza-Borrego has spots
Black Rock at Joshua Tree has availability
