Every year I have brought a couple of these guys

But in need for a cheap upgrade, these little things get the job done but I want a bigger, portable one, that will last longer then this thing.

Problem with this little fan is that it seems I put it on to sleep and wake up with it at half power, burning sun, then the battery dies.

So its a pain in the ass.
That fan should come with a warning sticker... DO NOT INGEST DRUGS OR MIND ALTERING SUBSTANCES WHILE OPERATING THIS IN A SMALL ENCLOSED SPACE DUE TO THE POTENTIAL FOR INJURY. (Keeping in mind that this bit of advice comes from someone who couldn't grasp the 60" height factor of a tent for 3 days. :rolleyes)

I got the same one last year and it was awesome, Did last the whole time on batteries. I actually just took it out for the first time since last year to check it out and I still have some juice left in.

I have one of these - comes with a clip or magnet to hang from ceiling, and the light is nice. It moves a little air but it's not going to keep you cool in a hot tent.

I have one of the Coleman battery operated ones as well, but I'm also bringing my full size box fan and I'm going to see how much drain it puts on the car battery running from an inverter.

I have the same one. works great if you are 2 inches away from it. if it wasn't so heavy from the 4-D sized batteries, I'd try to rig it to my hat...alas, I lay it down next to me around 6am.

The one i posted uses 4 D cell batteries, which is also what my airbed pump uses. I just inflated the bed and then put the batteries in the fan. I really only used the fan if I had to be in the tent in the morning for some reason, like changing after a shower. It helps a little. I've used it two years that way. It's about $20 at Walmart I think.

It took me way too long to figure out that this was the O2 one.
