What other venue in Los Angeles do you know that kicks out a Beatle for heckling the Smothers Brothers?

Sneaker Pimps show at the Troubadour was my first and best time there. Other highlights, AFI, Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Amanda Palmer, Friendly Fires and Hot Chip.
I might see Jamie Lidell there, depending on what direction his new album goes in.

I swear 50% of the venues I attend offer free cold and/or ice water. But I might be imagining.

The Echo/EchoPlex does too. Usually they have the water on the side and serve yourself as you please.

Jamie Lidell's show should be amazing. Hopefully we get some nice guest like Beck for the show. Here's a little preview of his new album 'compass' which looks to be killer...

Glancing over this page, I want The Besnard Lakes to play a show in LA again. Would love to catch them. Perhaps late October (like every other band) since they have a tour going already.
