like dlo said the venue of scottsdale is the old cajun house, so it wont be as douchey as myst or other clubs, as its not really a club per se...but it will be plenty douchey for most of our taste as it is in scottsdale on nye.
I'm just curious, when have you gone clubbing?
STS9 puts me to sleep, pass.
I'll probably go to Little Dragon, are tickets already on sale at Stinkweeds?

ha! I never understood the gripe about wearing a t-shirt from the band you are seeing. I mean, they sell merch at the show and people will be wearing that too. I've heard so many people over the years talk about how it's a terrible or dorky thing to do. It seems like the thing a fan of the band would do. You like them, you purchased their shirt and you are going to the show and you wear it to show the band you support them. It's like wearing a team jersey, shirt or hat to a sporting event, no?
I'm never that guy anyway. I think I have 2 band t-shirts. Total. That's it. Wilco from their 2008 Winter Residency and a Roger Clyne shirt. I never wear either.
Fig Neutron
12-08-2010, 10:04 AM
I usually try to wear a shirt from another band, so that people can see how awesome my taste is outside of the band we're seeing. But Pumpkins are such a favorite from way back that I might just be "that guy."
fax, you're the same fax from the old Peacemakers board, right? I mainly lurked there (like I do here), but you had the most personality there. Do you still see the Peacemakers? Any thought about the Tequila Festival this weekend?

12-08-2010, 10:12 AM
Hey Fig. Yep, that's me and thanks. I actually don't still see the Peacemakers. Their last few albums were huge disapointments to me so I gave up on them as just about every crazed fan I know from back in the day has...well almost all of them. My friend Ryan has a message board now where 80% of the people are former RCPM fans. A few of them still check out a local show every now and again. We were laughing while waiting for The Wall to begin at US Airways when we saw Roger was playing a show there. We didn't understand how it was even possible considering they barely sold out a show on the patio of Rustlers Rooste recently lol, then we saw it was for a tequila fest. I had mild interest in going because I like Tequila and i'm nostalgic for the music.
I'm going to the Pumpkins show tonight as well. I'm almost as excited to see this new casino theater as I am to see the actual band!
I was looking at selists recently and they seem to play anywhere between 15 and 24 songs. Seems like a huge difference so maybe the shorter shows were part of some bigger lineup? I also saw nothing from Gish and very little greatness from Siamese. No Mayonaise, Geek USA or Spaceboy. Hopefully it's not terrible but I have some faith in Billy.

Yeah, I guess I never looked at it that way, I used to buy merch because I liked it, not because I wanted everyone else to start liking them or spread the word about them. For me it was just a fan thing. If you like a band, sports team, artist..etc...you tend to buy their merch and wear it or use it because you like it. *shrugs*
I just purchased a T-Shirt from Roger Waters site. First one in almost 3 years.

I still go down to the Mexico shows, but mainly because it's become a tradition for me and my sister. I might see RCPM once a year locally and the Tequila Fest seemed like a cool event, but I've got two Christmas parties this weekend, so I'll probably end up skipping it.
I have been listening to a playlist I put together from the average setlist at setlists.com. It is a good mix of new and old, but the omission of Gish material is glaring. I was surprised to see they have been playing Eye. That would be a treat to hear that. I don't think it will be a train wreck, but I'm sure it will be better than Zwan at the Marquee.

of course YOU wear it because you like it. but ultimately the goal of putting your product on a t-shirt is so that others will buy your shit.

When I see someone wearing a shirt for a band at a show for the band I'll tend to assume that this is the one band they like/see live/follow.
When I see someone wearing a shirt for a band not playing I'll think, oh, that was a great show or damn, their last record was shite or, "hey, where did you see the Books?" (true story.) It is more fun for me.

Oh, I thought it already happened. I was going to look into ticket prices and what it included but i'll be in Vegas at Leonard Cohen. The Mexico shows were a lot of fun. The last Mexico show I attended was May of 08 maybe..now I don't remember. It was a great weekend becaue I didn't plan on going to the show, I went four wheeling on the beach and just drank with friends all weekend. Someone came out and gave me a wristband for the show but I actually became disinterested and left to drink some more. I simply got burned out on them. I have probably seen them in 4-5 different states and two countries a total of 40-50 times i'm sure over the course of 4 years or so. I had been seeing them since they were the Refreshments in the mide/late 90's. Their 2002 Mexico show when it rained is probably in my top 5 concerts of all time. It was so surreal hearing songs about rain and mexico and then rocking through straight through the thunderstorm as an amp blew. Not evening the pounding rain and lightening scared them off that stage.

Nice. Was Zwan bad? I actually liked the zwan CD and considered going to that show but waited to long. I saw the Pumpkins when they headlined Lolla in the mid 90's and then 2 sold out nights at the Rosemone Horizon when MAIS was released and one last time at Summerfest in Milwaukee when Adore came out.

I'm torn, I've been listening to them a lot lately, but they really aren't all that great live. That said, Rza is my favorite hip hop producer and I'd love to hear his beats thump inside Celebrity (my favorite venue). It's going to be a game time decision but I'm leaning towards no.

No, I didn't mean to imply Zwan was bad. I actually enjoyed the show. But even if it is only Billy from the original line-up this will still be a Pumpkins show with Pumpkins songs.

The Pumpkins were pretty damn good. I forgot how much of a monster Billy Corgan is on guitar. The venue however sucked ass. Ovations at Wild Horse Pass casino is less than a year old and is around 2400 seats. We were on the floor last row in the middle and the sound was very muffled. Especially the vocals for almost all of the show. Fortunately the band sounded good. I'm not big on the new drummer but the bass player was damn good looking. Bill has a knack for finding attractive females to play bass. I got to hear some songs I never expected to hear too like Drown! They played for just over 2 hours and it was well worth the $20. Songs played that I recall.
Today
Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Cherub Rock
Disarm ( he made a point to tell the audience that they were being rewarded for not heckling or booing the newer songs lol, he also bantered and made a fun of John McCain a little and told a story about his dad, he was in good spirits and I think he's finally returning to being a bit humble again. I'm assuming playing a casino when you have toured arenas will do that to you.)
Tonight Tonight
Ava Adore
To Sheila
Stumbeline
Heavy Metal Machine
Drown
Eye
Anyway. They sounded a much better than they did earlier this year on the webcast I saw. I will say i'm not a fan of the new drummer. He gets the job done but by no means should he be doing drum solos. Billy's guitar playing was definitely awesome to watch.

When that Terminal 5 show took place the band had less than 20 shows together and were together for less than 3 months.
I enjoyed the show enough to say I will definitely pay to see them again and i'm now interested in the new material. I don't even have Zeitgeist which was recorded with an entirely different band. I think Billy's been humbled a bit and is appreciating the smaller venues and is willing to be patient while he grows a new audience while understanding there is no need to ignore the back catalog either.
Jimmy was fired because he wanted to continue touring as a nostalgia act and Billy simply wants to keep making more new music. I think it would be awesome if they traded the young drummer for someone like Matt Sorum who has power but it's probably best if Billy keeps this new incarnation together long enough to establish themselves as a band rather than just some scrubs Billy found to play his music.

did you gamble while there?
Of course. I blew about $65 in the poker room at the $1-2 limit table because i'm a baller. I lost about $20 on the plastic horses though i'm not sure how it's a loss when they fed me booze for 3 hours. I won about $60 at 3 card poker. I also played some wheel of fortune slots, video poker (got 4 of a kind and won $40 on a .50 cent bet). I never bet big though. Back in the day I used to bring 800-1000 minimum to Vegas but these days I like to get through the weekend with about 200-300 bucks. Tomorrow i'll be staying in the middle of the strip at Imperial Palace so i'll be doing some more cheap gambling. I'll probably spend time at O'Sheas, Imperial an Harrah's gambling a bit here and there.
Have you been gambling much on your trips there?

when i was there for apc just recently i played craps all weekend. did pretty well. i haven't really been to vegas much this year though. think i've only been twice this year. and i really dont go to the indian casinos here in AZ. it just doesn't do anything for me to sit in a smokey ass room with a bunch of old people and unattractive dealers. lol
but i'm in the same boat you're in. i used to take $500 at a minimum, but now i'm more like $200 max. if you know what you're doing and not playing games with a high house edge, then $200 should be enough to do well with.
tell us how you did this weekend, faxy. when you get back of course...don't be surfing the boards when in vegas. ;)

Explain, LizardLicker.
LickTheLizzard
12-16-2010, 02:26 PM
Example #1: Laidback Luke at 910 Live. The sound was turned down so low I couldn't tell what song he was playing half the time. Apparently they got in trouble for some noise ordinance and couldnt have the speakers turned up above a whisper.
Example #2: Skrillex last wednesday. 910 over sold the venue and bouncers were still letting girls in for $20 at the door. The 18+ dance floor was so crowded you couldnt move. Skrillex did end up playing a great set, and I was able to find some room to breath in the 21+ area, but the sound cut out towards the end and Skrillex called it quits.
I just wish there was someone booking these electronic acts at legit venues. Marquee is a great place to see a show, yet these major DJs are still being booked @ 910 (AKA Boston's with some fancy lights).

Infected Mushroom was very fun. Lots of energy on the stage, which was expected. And they were spot on. No screw ups or problems(that I noticed anyway).
The crowd wasn't as big as I thought it would be (especially with 2 for 1 tickets), but there were definitely enough people to lose yourself in, and everyone was of course very into it.
Gunslinger, who played right before IM, was pretty sweet too. He dropped Illmerica which was amazing, and a number of others that got the crowd going.

One of the better small venues in Phx. Decent sound, decent setup. Not as good as the rythym room but way better than the clubhouse. Although marquee is bigger than both of those clubs.

i thought i'd told this story before, but gather round kiddies...
so i was 16, senior year of high school. i had a long-distance boyfriend. no, not that one. for the second time in a period of three months, i decided to drive out to see him in LA without my parent's permission. my life was complete and utter hell at that time, and going to see him made it all better somehow.
i was taking community college classes to fulfill an english credit while in high school. i was in a play. our play was submitted to the community college thespian conference. the conference was on a thursday & friday. that thursday, i knew i had a reason to come home late and leave the house early. so i ditched the conference to see my boyfriend. in my nativity, i thought that i could drive to LA at around 6am, get some, drive back by like 11pm. my thinking lead me to believe i could leave LA at 5pm and get home in time.
little did i know about a thing called LA rush hour traffic. i went two exits in two miles. my anxiety was horrible at this time, and i had a panic attic, knowing i wouldn't be home in time. i pulled over into a neighborhood to throw up. i laid down for a second to recover. next thing i know, i'm waking up at 2am. i had tons of missed calls from my parents on the family cell phone. instead of being a good daughter and letting them know i was safe, i hauled ass outta town.
i got out of the LA area, but had to rest again at some point for sleep. woke up in the morning, i would guess it was around 8-9am. now i knew i was REALLY in trouble. besides that, my play was to start that afternoon around 2pm at the thespian conference.
so i set the cruise control for 110 mph, as fast as my mom's car would go. i made it blythe when i was finally pulled over. the cop comes running up to my window, completely out of breath. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW FAST YOU WERE GOING?!" i start to speak, but apparently he did not want a response. "110 MILES PER HOUR. WE'VE HAD A HELICOPTER FOLLOWING YOU FOR THREE HOURS BEFORE WE COULD FINALLY CATCH UP WITH YOU".
my response. "i'm sorry sir, but i have to be in a play in a few hours and was in a hurry". i kept apologizing, and the guy said something about how he wasn't going to arrest me, but gave me a ticket.
i drove home to some very, very pissed off parents. my mom came in my room, grabbed the cell phone and said "you won't be needing THIS" in my mom's very pissed off sort of way. i was grounded. and i was pretty much never grounded. i still was allowed to do the play though so they drove me quickly to the play. they were so mad, i didn't even think to mention that i had gotten this ticket driving their car.
so, eventually i got a notice in the mail that i had a warrant for missing my court date. i remember a year later, at 17 when i had dropped out of college, flying to berekley on another upset whim to see the same boyfriend. we were at some frat party when the cops came. i had to tell him "you need to sneak me out NOW, i have a warrant and my parents don't know i'm here". he was flabbergasted and thought it was hilarious. i got out safely.
i assume the warrant is no longer an issue. and that's the helicopter story *jazz hands*
faxman75
12-22-2010, 11:37 AM
I wouldn't be too sure about that warrant not being an issue. In many states they never expire. In fact a friend of mine got an under age drinking ticket at a campground in very rural Indiana when were 20 years old.
At age 24 he was pulled over for an illegal turn or something silly, the warrant popped up, then driven 3.5 hours to southern Indiana where they had him sit in jail for 3 days before seeing the judge.
So you might want to check on that or avoid police at all costs when you are in Cali.
Great story by the way. I expected nothing less. No one saw you passed out on the side of the road in a pool of vomit though? Crazy. Glad you were ok.
chairmenmeow47
12-22-2010, 11:40 AM
i was in my car in a neighborhood when i puked. it was for a speeding ticket and i was underage. it's been 12 years. i hope i'm ok.
faxman75
12-22-2010, 11:54 AM
I hope so too. The offense usually means very little when it comes to warrants. Some cities and courts may decide to purge their warrant list on occasion for smaller infractions or not pursure certain people for their warrants but it's not the norm. It's revenue and they like revenue. They will take their revenue a decade later if they can. How was 110 MPH not reckless driving or a felony? That's pretty awesome that they spent money on a chopper to trail you for three hours and you outran the police for that long and they let you go with a minor traffic ticket. Oh to be a high school girl...
That reminds me of my story where I was totally wasted driving and racing someone and crashed my car into....well nothing, I spun out into a field of mud totalling the car. Cop was 30 yards from me writing someone else a ticket. I thought I was completely fucked but he let me go. No DUI (said it was my lucky night because of so many other accidents and more importantly the guy he was training called in sick, had he not he would have been required to teach him how to do a DUI), called the tow truck company for me, drove me home and simply gave me a "too fast for conditions" ticket which my smart ass defeated in court. I definitely had luck on my side.
When I was reading the panic attack part I pictured you passed out in someone's lawn or something. In your car is much safer lol. Crazy ass trip you had there. Cheers to good fortune!
chairmenmeow47
12-22-2010, 11:56 AM
ha ha ha, that's a funny story. and yes, 16 with D cups was quite the life. i got out of more than one reckless driving ticket ;) but those are other stories for other days...
at this point, i'm afraid to follow-up and would rather just pretend like i didn't know or something.

I hear ya. I remember back when I was moving from Chicago to Phoenix I wanted to clear up all debts and legalities. Seemed like a good idea before starting fresh in a new state. When I was attending Columbia College in Chicago during 1995 I was a fairly irresponsible person who was always running late to class. Well, I also didn't like having to pay some ridiculous $10 fee to park my car when I drove (I normally took the train to school but I liked driving more). So I decided one day to start parking in front of the parking meters without putting any money in it of course. Well, the tickets started to pile up. For a while I would save them by tossing them in the backseat. I easily had over a dozen over the course of a month or two. At one point I figured I would try a trick and just take the ticket off of someone elses window and put it on mine. That way the cop would think he already ticketed me. That was a fail as I came back to my car with 2 tickets on the window. I called the city before I moved and asked them how much I owed for parking tickets and gave them my license #, license plate # and all that jazz. She says "sir, you don't owe anything". I chuckle and explain to her that it's unlikely because I knew of a couple and we carefully went over all of my information again and said 'nope, you don't owe the city anything and there are no outstanding tickets of any kind in the system'.
I was a happy camper.

I saw Webley perform about a year ago. He went to high school with a friend of mine, so I went upon her request. Otherwise I would have never given the guy a chance. It was an amazing show. Webley has charisma to burn. He was charming, funny and above all extremely entertaining. I highly recommend this show. Musically he reminds me of a young Tom Waits. He is well worth $7.
I will be seeing him tomorrow night at Solar Culture. I'm going to try and catch No Age at Club Congress as well.

A great interview with Tucson's own Joey Burns of Calexico. Talking about the upcoming show in Phoenix, Gabby Giffords and how she is a fan and a gethering of independent record stores for a convention of sorts the same weekend as the Phoenix show...
http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/valleyfever/2011/01/calexicos_joey_burns_on_giffor.php
In 2008, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was given the chance to choose the "wake- up" music to roust her astronaut husband, Mark Kelly, and the rest of the crew slumbering above Earth aboard the Discovery mission.
The song she chose, "Crystal Frontier," had several layers of significance. First, it's a loud, fast-track that's well-suited to the task. Also, it's by Calexico, a band hailing from her hometown of Tucson. Not only is Calexico one of Giffords' favorite acts, they'd played campaign events on her behalf.
So Giffords picked the song and, when NPR wanted a Tucsonian to offer a brief comment on the senseless spree shooting that's left Giffords in critical condition, they turned to singer Joey Burns. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone better suited to the task of representing Tucson than the frontman of the genre-bending Americana act.
Calexico will play at Corona Ranch in Laveen on Friday, February 4. It's a special event -- not only is the atmospheric rodeo grounds and party center a unique place for a show, but the concert coincides with the Alliance of Independent Media Stores convention, probably the largest congregation of record store geeks assembled during the entire year.
To entertain one of the toughest crowds he'll ever see, Burns has cooked up a few surprising covers, though he won't offer any clues beyond that. Moreover, he's hoping it'll be a step in healing -- emotions and images.
"There was talk of it not being in Phoenix for several reasons, and now with this, you can only imagine some people might be even more apprehensive," Burns says. "But I think us showing our face... and holding this really special concert in this really incredible place, Corona Ranch, I think it's going to help in that whole process of people getting a bigger picture."
Here's what else Burns had to say about Tucson, his connection to Giffords, and his upcoming show in Phoenix.
While you're reading, you can stream the song Giffords chose to wake up her husband by clicking play below.
Crystal Frontier by cashmusic
Martin Cizmar: What's it like to be a spokesman for your town in a situation like this? Obviously when places like NPR were looking for someone to talk to -- a Tucsonian -- they went you,
Joey Burns: There are a lot of great people in this town that are speaking out. Just watching the news last night, Savannah Guthrie, who was born and raised here, who's a television reporter for NBC -- I saw her piece and it was great. She was talking to the night host on the television news here about how great this place is and how much she loves it. And all the people I've heard speaking about Tucson, especially the family members of the people involved, still find Tucson a remarkable place. Not only it's diversity, but the general feeling here -- the friendliness, openness -- this place still remains a very positive place, an inspirational place.
MC: Tucson is a big town but it's also kind of a small town. What's it like having a spotlight like this on it? Are people getting it right, or do you think they're not getting it right?
JB: I think the people who've made comments about the town itself and the people are spot on. It is a very diverse place, and there are a lot of different kinds people here who have different beliefs and come from different backgrounds, and that's what makes it so special. And so I think people are getting it.... Today is a very special day, as I'm sure you know, President Obama and his wife, the first lady, Michelle Obama are coming here to take part in a memorial. And I'm hoping to be there in person or to be nearby to take part in that healing process, and I'm also going to be offering my services for a number of memorials throughout the week, and the future. So, on one hand I'm incredibly sad and devastated by the tragedy, and how shocking and horrible it's been. But I'm also blown away by how amazingly people are rallying their spirits despite the loss and helping others. That, to me, shows the true spirit of a town like this?
MC: Do you have a song that you feel is appropriate -- when you said you'll be offering your services -- is there something you have to share with people that you think will mean something to them?
JB: There's a lot of songs -- I was thinking about this one song. The night it happened there was this event at the Rialto, a very spontaneous thing, and I didn't want to get up on stage, I didn't have anything I needed to share, and I just felt it best just to be there and support... but one song that came to mind is a song from 2003 from the album Feast of Wire called "Woven Birds," which is written from the perspective of watching a place that's gone through a horrible tragedy. And after that song a number of people have come up to me and said how much that song's meant to them in times of loss and sadness.
MC: How did you feel when you heard one of your songs was going to be played on the space shuttle? To me that says 'Tucson' more than anything -- that Tucson has a congresswoman who likes Calexico and is married to an astronaut -- that seems very unique and special to me.
JB: We were all pretty surprised and really honored that Gabrielle would ask us to pick one of our own songs. We'd gradually heard that she was a fan, we'd been playing for quite a few years, but she'd never really came up. It's not like she was trying to make this opportunity. She's just a fan of a lot of bands, whether they're national acts touring through Tucson or local bands. And it was Charlie Levy of Stateside Presents who really made the connection he was like 'Wow, if you like this band, and they're great guys, and I know they like what you do, let's try to organize an event.' So it was a series of connections thanks to Charlie Levy that really brought us all together to try to help the community. And it's been great. We've helped out a number of years, in prior elections, and in this most recent one. So she contacted us and was kind of like 'hey, what do you think, what song would you recommend?' I was so excited -- I was like 'oh, my gosh, a wake-up call, maybe something that would really wake them up' -- I wanted something that would really wake them up, not a subtle song. So I was thinking a song with trumpets, and that really speaks the essence of Tucson, that blend of genres and cultural influences, that really speaks the history of the place... So I thought 'Crystal Frontier, that'd be a great song!' And, sure enough, she sent it up.
MC: Speaking of Charlie, he's done an amazing job of booking you at venues around Phoenix. This one coming up at Corona Ranch -- I was just at a wedding there, it's a beautiful spot, I was thinking 'man this is a cool place, this would be a great place to see a concert' and of course Charlie is two steps ahead of anyone.
JB: Both Charlie and Kimber Lanning from Stinkweeds have raved about Corona Ranch. They're both kind of pathfinders for Arizona... Like that Heritage Square pavilion show, that was a great show, a lot of people enjoyed it and it brought a lot of different people together... Now, in light of the tragedy that occurred this past weekend, I think Arizona needs these kind of shows. We're going to have Mariachi Passion, which is an all-female mariachi group, and we're going to have Sergio Mendoza and his orchestra featuring Salvador Duran, then Calexico is going to play, and when we do these local shows Sergio and Salvador and a lot of members of his orchestra come up and back us up... I think it's going to be very special, it's going to ooze atmosphere and everything that we love bout this place.
MC: Is it going to be weird on tour -- your music has such a sense of place that people definitely get a picture of Tucson listening to it -- but at the same time now, when you go to Europe or Back East, there are going to be all those other images that people have of this place?
JB: No. I think that people who know the band, they're going to see the reason why, when people comment about the soulfulness of this place, they're going to see the connection. It'd be one thing if we played a different kind of music, but the music that we've created over the years, I think it kind of taps into the essence of the Sonoran desert, and why this is a special place. It's all about that air. It's about these influences that come from different cultures here. Calexico has been that melting point -- the name even reflects that, that's why we chose the name from the town on the border of California and Mexico, because it kind of embodied the direction we're going. So I think, when people, especially people from Europe who know us, I'm sure they're shocked that the events that happened this weekend occurred in the same town where we're from, because it's the polar opposite.
MC: How do you reconcile that -- obviously this is something that's from there, who's mom works basically as a park ranger in that town -- how do you reconcile that?
JB: You reach out. You have to do your mourning, you have to take your own time to grieve, but you have to then reach out. Not just going to the same places with the same people, but really trying to help out others... There's a lot of ground to cover here... I just feel you need to get out there and embrace -- all people, all groups. And it's a tough one. I'm walking down the street now, and I've got all kinds of different feelings, but you have to walk the same way Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is right now. You're fearless and you lead with your heart. You don't succumb to fear or doubt.
And Jason, before you ask, i'll clear up the confusion for you again. This is not Roger Clyne, this is Calexico the band from Tucson that opened up for Arcade Fire for a few shows and have played Coachella and Sasquatch. I was at a fundraiser they did for Gabby Giffords back in 2008 where she spoke on stage about her husband who had just launched into space and he brought the song Crystal Frotnier with him. It's looking like the show in Laveen on the Friday of "Interpol Weekend" might be an emotional one...
Here is Gabby introducing Calexico at the fundraiser that took place at the Rialto.

What did you guys think of the show?
I liked Wavves but got kind of over it after 40 minutes. We headed over to the bar next door before their set ended. The U of A game was on so I watched the last 10 minutes of that. Micah told me that Best Coast was coming on but I knew that if I got bored with Wavves, a band whose album I liked more, then I'd be bored with Best Coast after half an hour, especially since I thought a lot of their songs sound pretty much the same. (I only have 6 songs off their album, so I could be wrong.) So I missed a few of the Best Coast songs and I did, in fact, start to get a little bored after 20 minutes. I made it to 30 minutes to feel like I got my money's worth. They sounded nice and all, just too same-y from one song to the next. And her lyrics are pretty shitty.
Still kinda glad I went, though. Good to get out of the house.
EDIT: So who all is going to Little Dragon again? Billygoat is the only other band playing, right? I don't want it to be too late a night since I've been getting up for work around 5:30 for the past month.

I'll be at both Little Dragon and Calexico, and have no plans before Interpol. I'm in for a meet up. :)

Let's do this Interpol meetup thing. Mellow Mushroom sounds bomb, I'd also like to check out Dave's Electric at some point in my lifetime even though there are a lot of people trying to deter my efforts.
