The entire thread was meant as a joke. With all the talk about wanting single day tickets, the thread starter thought it would be funny to request "half day tickets". You should have figured this out when the first response to this thread was "HAHAHAHAHA".

I just though of posting something exactly like this, and then I saw this thread.

I'll reiterate something I said somewhere else -- I don't get the negative reaction to selling no single-day tickets. If you don't want to go to the whole festival, then you're probably not that into the idea of a music festival to begin with, and you should stick to going to concerts to see bands you already know you like. No one is making you pay for all three days if you don't want to.

Can we get Jersey Turnpike style tickets? Like, where we get a card when we enter the gates that is stamped with a time and when we leave, they figure out how long we were there and only charge us for our exact festival usage. If we lose the card, we pay for the entire festival and are chastised by the toll booth attendant upon exit. It seems like the only fair way to do things.
