Does anyone here have experience with camping out overnight for a concert? Me and two friends will be waiting in line for roughly eighteen hours at the Avalon on Saturday. What should we expect, besides boredom?

Dir En Grey....... Yeah for all the kids into them I guess its worth it. My record stands at 17 and half hours for Nine Inch Nails at the Key Cluib Morongo last year. I only did 12 hours for Radioheads cali shows that were GA.

Bring a chair, a fully chairged Ipod/cdplayer and stuff to read. Make sure you can camp out because cops will make you leave because its loitering and you will be in hollywood so weirdos will be around at points in the wee early morning hours. Just hope it doesnt rain, actually I hope it does then it will be more fun..

NIN played Morongo? That would have been cool.

i waited for 8 hours to see Radiohead GA in Berkeley. That's my longest. It was worth it. I was about 10 people from the center of the stage.
