That's what Pitchfork and their booking agency are saying.

Of Montreal seems definitely in, but there's a reason they're not updating the poster. I'm betting they're waiting to add a few names at once (and I didn't really believe until recently they'd add anyone at all). If it were only Of Montreal, they'd have updated the poster by now.

It's painful to say, but even a nekkid Kevin might not be anough to distract you from their weak live sound. Unfortunately, any crowd exceeding maybe a hundred just dwarfs them sonically. Call them lo-fi or whatever, but I saw them live in SF and it was not unlike watching a very large video of a live perfomance from across the room on a t.v. with crap speakers. You feel just that removed unless you're within 5 feet of the stage and get hit by flying pubes.

Hissing Fauna's a sensational record, though. Cross your toes that they will have fired that sound guy in the orange haz-mat jumpsuit by 4/27.

I was never really into them but I picked up Hissing Fauna when it came out and I really like it. I'll probably check them out if they play on Friday.
