Unfortunately, no. I wish And So I Watch You From Afar or White Denim were there... but i guess that's for the 'wishlist' or SXSW

Rx Bandits are definitely a live jam band and have been labeled as progressive rock(although I wouldn't limit them to it).

I so want to catch the Porcupine Tree set.

I know lots of you dont like them, but Coheed puts on a really wicked jam at the end of their set. It usually comes out of "The Final Cut" and Claudio has been known to bust out a theramin for it, and Travis uses a talk box pretty regularly.

Bands that will jam (besides PT):
Mew
RX Bandits
Sly & the Family Stone
Coheed & Cambria
Baroness
Them Crooked Vultures
Avett Brothers (although they're much more folksy, they still get their groove on)
Les Claypool
Portugal. the Man

that's all I can think of at the moment. Muse will probably do some cool jams too.

Yeah and about half of those are prog. I assume Dead Weather will jam a bit, being that they have Jack White, but I don't know. This is probably the most prog rock you'll ever see at Coachella, unless Peter Gabriel headlines or Rush or something.

Sorry, I got a little sidetracked on the "jam" aspect. I'm sure you know which ones are prog and which aren't.

I wasn't refuting anything you said, I was just answering the thread title by pointing out which of your bands were prog
