There is not a band that i havent seen that I would rather see than Electric Light Orchestra. They are absoluetly phenomenol. Everyone knows their songs. they are pioneers and straight up Ballers. And yet. no one ever talks about them.

Anyways, I've done some mild searchign on google, can only really find fan sites with not mcuh info. Does anyone know any chance of these guys ever reuniting? or heard of any talks? Jeff Lynn and crew are all still alive and kicking right?

I heard like 4 years ago that they tried to do a whole huge production world tour in 2000, but they cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Everyones getting back together, it has been the decade of reunions. This needs to happen some year, sometime soon

Jeff Lynn better hurry up and do it. It could be a now or never deal. If Mickey Thomas can still tour (granted, he only plays casinos) with "his" Starship, I'm sure a legitimate ELO reunion wouldn't exactly be pissed on.

Especially if the keyboardist breaks out his Minimoog.

yeah they sold only 500 tickets for arco arena in sacramento which holds 17,000.

i cant see it ever happening but they did have a album's worth of good songs...

good band with really good pop song arrangments...

In addition to the fact that there just isn't enough public interest, from what I can tell the whole band doesn't get along. There is a Lynn-less version called "The Orchestra" that tours around, and there is also some slap dash incarnation of the Move as well, I think.

I think Jeff Lynn could probably do well if his version of ELO played smaller venues rather than arenas. They could present it as an prestigious, intimate sort of thing and cut out the embarrassment of low ticket sales.

i think jeff lynne and Co doing ELO songs at a festival would be great to see.. alos if they did a show at a 2000-5000 seat theatre would be very cool as well..

damn i even dig the songs they contributed to the xanadu soundtrack!! :)

An "Eldorado" show would be so tasty.
