Well her album came out yesterday being incredibly good And her husband dying of an overdose in 2008 and this being her big return.

I have such high expectations for this performance. It will be very emotional.

if by emotional you mean your run of the mill VH1 spotting boring singer songwriter pop than you're right

I don't know how that could be the definition of emotional. Unless you were trying to make a funny in which you failed.

It's so sad, but I can't wait to hear her live.

I heard good reviews of her music. The recent loss of her hubby coupled w all her other life experiences will make a powerful performance... I hope they sell single day ticket. I want to check her out...

Should we kill Zooey on the off chance of a decent Death Cab album coming from it?

I'm with you, WTLF. I've been trying to tell people she'll be worth checking out based on the new record.

And yes, BritChris...make it happen.

After she broke out a few years ago I've wanted to see her live. I think she opened up for John Legend on his tour a couple years ago? But I couldn't attend for some reason (that'd be a pretty nice 1-2 gig). I really hope she translates well live... She has a beautiful voice, but it seems kinda soft. So hopefully she can let that voice open up and just blow people away the same way Sia did that to the Mojave Audience on Sunday night '08.

BTW,
"Closer" is a very nice, sultry song... in a very non-NINs way
