I wonder why bands like Primus don't reform - they'd have to be in greater demand with that name than the Les Claypool name. Or maybe Les could tour with session musicians as Primus... their music is much better known.

I saw Primus in 06. And they did a tour in 08. I think they might have even played some shows in 09. Les plays with Primus when he feels like playing with Primus. Obviously, he doesnt feel like playing with Primus right now.

Well, I wasn't supporting the idea from anything but a marketing perspective... although I can see where that came from. Obviously Primus should tour as Primus, not Les Claypool and a couple non-Primus guys.

But... you know... Roger Waters and a Pink Floyd cover band is still pretty f'in entertaining. You know?
