I love Gorillaz, and I've seen the majority of the youtube videos of their live shows. But has anyone seen them recently, do they do anything different? It looks like the show is either a holographic performance or a crapload of people jamming. Which is awesome, but I have no idea what to expect as a headliner for coachella.

If I say 'fuck' two more times, that's 46 'fucks' in this fucked up rhyme.

apparently the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble will be part of the act so i'm assuming it's going to be a crapload of people jamming.

Blurry holographic people jamming and fucking...it's a really ridiculous experience...also a the good, the bad, & the queen reference belongs somewhere in there, but i'm too lazy to think of anything

I saw them back in 2002. They were doing a split screen thing, with the top half being the cartoon video and the bottom was the actual band playing in front of like a mesh screen so you only saw their silhouettes. You basically just watch the cartoons and hoped it was actually them below.

I think if you're fred durst you can do anything in the world.

I must admit though, I got an edited version of that track just to see what'd it sound like, and let me tell you, ive never laughed so hard in my entire life.

From what I understand, they're going to try to do something a little different when they perform the new album live. So, it's hard to say exactly what we'll see.
