Seriously? No one else is excited about this?

tour dates were announced too close to coach's lineup release, most people around here probably haven't even noticed the upcoming shows thread in the last week, I almost missed the announcement.

that being said, yes I'm excited and will be hitting up a show.

Hello there. I am pretty excited about this. Maybe not needs-its-own-thread excited, but I will probably try to make their LA show. The Fonda seems like a nice place for them and it should be a real good time.

Yeah I figured this would get lost in the midst of the lineup announcement.

I am very stoked about the DC show. I wasn't that familiar with these guys last year but know them better now and am really looking forward to it.

I'd be stoked if they stopped in Reno after Seattle, I've really wanted to see these guys for awhile as well.

I saw them at coachella last year and I just watched Dig!!! last night. Sure they're still a good band but I don't see how anyone can be really excited about this anymore. If this was ten years ago then it'd be a different story. Anton gave up a long time ago.

they played a 1:30 am set at roskilde a few years ago. it was a wreck.

Anton is so sedated now. You can tell he doesn't think there's any possible way they can get huge and start a music revolution anymore.

He was not sedated when i saw him. He was throwing shit at the crowd and hitting bandmates off stage so he could fuck with their instruments on his own...

Why do you care about that shit?

Their new stuff is really surprisingly good too, although they mainly play old stuff live. My Bloody Underground was a really interesting direction for them. I really enjoyed it.

I need to give MBU more listens. But I'm looking forward to this tour and the new album greatly.

So the new album, "Who Killed Sgt. Pepper?" has been out for a while now. Thoughts?

The album hits both extremes for me - the tracks that are good, are fucking good. But the tracks that aren't are pretty bad. Doesn't seem to be alot of inbetween.

Yeah they put out albums pretty fast. Let me know if you want it, forza, and ill upload it for you.

This one was recorded in Iceland and Berlin, and it shows in the music.

I'll definitely be at the DC date.

Their DC show a couple of weeks ago was great as well. Good time. Played alot of older hits and classics, and nothing from Who Killled Sgt. Pepper nor My Bloody Underground, which I found very surprising.
