it rained a little bit the night before Coachella, around 2002 or 2003...but not much and there was no sign of it come festival time

It's raining right now.
It's been raining and will continue to rain for some time.
Keep in mind that '"Coachella" is technically in Indio.
It's also safe to say that it's raining both in Coachella, Indio
and the site where the 2010 Coachella Music and Arts Festival will be held.
Than said and in an effort to legitimately answer brifloras question, no.

I can't decide if that looks entirely miserable or like a total blast. I don't think there could be any less of an extreme reaction.

By the time you're at Coachella, you're probably going to spend a disproportionate amount of time in the DoLab getting fake rained on to cool off.
