I'm sorry if this has already been posted, I did a search and nothing came up...

Does anyone know if there are payphones available @ the on-site camping? I remember someone saying that one year they had some sort of internet station, but I don't recall anything about payphones.

There are not payphones in the venue. Not sure about at the onsite camping site, but pretty sure there will not be.

no payphones but 98% people have a cell you can probably borrow for a sec. if you can get coverage.

Just 60,000 people using signal at the same time.

wow karli, payphones are an endangered species here in california.... they are disappearing, not accepting incoming calls, and getting more and more expensive to use... last time i used one (long time ago) it costs me fifty cents for a local call, and here in the coachella valley "local" is not that big an area....

I should join the 21st century and buy a cell phone, and a digital camera while I'm at it. ha.

Who did I need to call? Just thought if I couldn't find the people I am trying to meet up with I could call them.
