A few questions from a first timer..

1. Girls: how well do they check you upon entering?
(i've been to shows where they make you turn out your bra to make sure your not hiding anything in there. i hope that doesnt happen again.)

2. since it's the desert i doubt they do this but
do they take the caps off of the water bottles when you buy them?

3. i'll be driving in from a hotel about 90 mi. away (i forgot where exactly but it's cheap)
how long will it take to get through the traffic to the venue and find decent parking?
is there alternative parking somewhere near the venue?

Do they take caps off of the bottles? Why? No they don't do that at Coachella, traffic depends on what time you arrive. If you get near the event before noon you should be ok the later it gets the more packed. I would actually recommend parking about 10am or earlier.

2. You can't bring bottles in the venue
3. Come early to avoid traffic. Try to get there at 10am. Seriously.

the girls line up to get in was hella fast last year. just a quick once over inside my bag and that was it. didnt get patted down or any small pockets checked. was very happy about that. not that i brought any illegal things into the grounds, it just made getting in soooo fast. the security ppl were very respectful and friendly. kudos to them.
