Elton John has discussed helping Eminem to beat an addiction to prescription pills. The 'Rocket Man' singer told BBC 5Live: "I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly." Speaking to Danny Baker, John revealed his own problems with drugs had made him "arrogant" and "cocky". John added: "I'm there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there's no point advising people if they don't want to do it."

Such a respectable man. I do hope it is not just me that gets irritated when someone hears an Elton John song come on and either sighs or make some wisecrack about it. People on here should either give more of his work a listen or revisit whichever albums he's done that they have some connection to.

Elton John is gay.

He used to be bisexual. Something happened. I'd like to know why.

i always thought he would make the most amazing sunset performer on the mainstage. not too late, not a headliner probably, but at just the perfect time to get everyone pumped for the evening. it would have to be the night of the weakest headliner though.

Saturday night is the ideal night for this alone:

Since it sadly seems the public can't convince the celebrities that they're invincible to all the drugs, etc, maybe their own peers and mentors can... I grew up loving Elton John and had the chance to see him on tour around 1985in San Diego. What a showman! He only left the stage long enough during his 3 hour show for costume changes. He even remained onstage when the rest of the band took a break for like 20 minutes...Awesome and unforgettable show! Here are afew of my favorites...
