Billy Corgan? Why would you pick one of the worst voices of all time?

Because he fucking can write some pretty amazing songs and him and Reznor could probably work well off each other. Get your head out of your ass.

He hasn't written anything worth two shits in years, but even if that's your reasoning take the vocals out of his fucking description. Penisface should never be allowed near a mic.

Listen to Zeitgeist again or watch the concert portion of the film "If All Goes Wrong". Unfortunately, your not going to be able to get past the voice so it won't matter.

Even though every other post in this thread is stupid, I want to play this game. So...

Maynard James Keenan and Martina Topley Bird on vocals
Dave Navarro on lead guitar
Jesse Keeler on Bass
Trent Reznor on keyboards
Danny Carey on Drums

This particular lineup has all worked together in some capacity already, and would actually have a reasonably coherent sound (Peter Hook with Corgan? really?)

hopefully I will at Coachella this year! :-) I'll bet TCV came about because of a genuine friendship amongst its members, whereas celebrity duets and such are more labored and forced. It wasn't Josh Homme sitting at home and saying "I need to create a supergroup, who are my dream members?" which seems to be the MO in this thread. Anybody who puts Billy Corgan as a vocalist should be fired. Maybe as a lyricist?

I didnt think anyone on this board knew who they were. They're from DC and have plalyed alot of local shows. I saw them open for Ulrich Schnauss a couple years back, and then back during this summer they played at an art gallery here in Richmond with Ceremony to about 8 people. They're really good indeed.

Have you seen Greenwood rock that Ondes? I would love to see a band where that's his main instrument.

And I forgot to put a bassist at first, and I assume Jack White knows how to play it because he's played everything else.

Drums - Dominic Howard
Bass - Claypool
Guitar - Jimmy Page
Vox - Brandon Boyd

this band could seriously crank out some slick hard rock

Here's why

Dominic: super solid straight up rock drumming. great for riff rock
Les Claypool - will seriously bring the funk on the bass
Jimmy - will bring riffs like no body's business and solo as good as anyone. he can get funky too. He can also produce. Don't forget he produced all of zep's stuff.
Brandon - he works really really well with riff rock. he will respond to les's funky bass really well.

let the flaming begin
