Hello all,
I was a big NE fan back in the 80's and was excited to hear that they have new music out. Album is on iTunes and is titled "Industrial Complex" and its pretty damn good! Pretty much touches all aspects of their career and is definitely hard hitting in places.

Saw them live in Atlanta last Thursday and while the last time I saw them it was just Douglas and Bonn they have added a live drum set up. Douglas' voice does not falter...EVER and the new material comes across great live! Of course the highlights of the evening were "Join In The Chant, Getting Closer, Let Your Body Learn, Lightning Man" essentially the classics but it was nice to hear "Ascend" live as it was always one of my favorite tracks..."Promises, Hit You Back and Payroll" were all great off the new album...id highly recommend checking them out if you ever were a fan as it was a lot of fun with a lot of energy.

Below is the setlist with the show flyer...

Whoa, I just saw them last night! The show was great, although I hadn't heard the new album before. Spare set-up, but GREAT energy.

Damn that sounds like fun, I remember seeing them in the 80s at "Club Postnuclear" in Laguna. Was there no Los Angeles date or are they skipping it for some reason? all I see are Santa Ana/Ventura dates. I couldn't imagine them playing Coachella.

I love NE; I almost crapped myself when I heard they were opening for DM again for their German shows. I missed them here in PHX because I was in NYC, but I'd love to see them at Coach.

Yeah, it was a great show, much better than '06. I found out their "new" drummer was actually a member in the 90's...he's on the "Big Hit" album and toured with them.

In '06 they had that girl with the silly hair from Combichrist, but she didn't really do anything but keep time, and Bon didn't do much either. I liked the mallot sample trigger thingy Bon had this time. I swear he just had a Mac and a floor tom last time.

That was the World Violation tour. I caught the end of their set in Vancouver and would definitely like to see NE again. Good to see that they're still kicking.

Yes, I know it was the World Violation tour.

I was surprised by how good they were on Wednesday. It had been about 15 years since I last saw them live, and they still brought it, even with the small set-up. Douglas looked fine in his suit.

They're playing here Tuesday at echoplex, I'm going.
Did anyone see them in San Diego?
