Whenever somebody actually listens to this [no doubt shitty] album, please start a new thread for it.

If you say so...

Well I listened to this album in full last night, and as someone pointed out, it is definitely all over the place. But at the same time I feel the theme is pretty cohesive. Definitely not what I was expecting, especially the opening track "The Children."

I would'nt call the album shitty at all Monkey, It's a lot of fun and has some infections melodies to it.

Well I'm off to go finish my Christmas shopping and giving this album a second listen on the way..

I'll be sure to make another thread about Odd Blood when I come back.

This thread doesn't feel official enough for my tastes. Maybe I should create one too.

Maybe he's saying "before." Either way it's homo. Fake British accents are for pop punks.

Saw them at bonnaroo last year and was really impressed. I love the new album and will be at their set, pending any conflicts.

Don't see the connection. Maybe Roland Orzabal, but that's it.

I twisted my own arm into going tonight, even though I really really hate the venue. They were brilliant as expected. They play a couple of the new songs at a slower tempo that sounds really cool. I haven't been to a dancey show like that in a while, so it was fun.

any one else notice that maybe the album is entirely different then All Hour Cymbals because they used an entirely diff singer....

The first album seemed like the white dude who looked like scorpio was the lead singer and now its the persian looking dude singing.....

No no no no. They both sing on both albums.

For example, Chris sings lead on "Sunrise" and Anand sings lead on "Wait for the Summer" from the first album.

Then with the new album Chris sings lead on "Ambling Alp" and Anand sings lead on "ONE".

Just a few examples.

I'm still upset that LA never got a solo show. I passed on the Bowl because I was sure they would come back around. Damn it Yeasayer, I was so excited too.

Yeasayer were phenomenal last night. In addition to material from their 2 studio albums they also played 3 news songs.

The new songs had a decidedly 80's new wave sound to them. Hmmm... not necessarily the direction I would have expected them to go. But sounded great regardless.
