I have two rooms. No pool party for me.

Th FS hotel is a great place to stay. 24 hr room service. Close to the venue. Hot showers. Soft beds. Clean towels. Make sure you ask the front desk for the backroads to the venue. It's a 5 minute drive.

I have a Party RV to shuttle me and my friends back and forth from the venue.

Hey, me and some of my friends are staying at the Fantasy Springs. You say you have a party RV to go back and forth? That is incredible. You staying at the hotel?

Myself and a couple of friends are staying there again this year. Last year there was not much action at the pool but we are down to start the day off with some Jager bombs and get a nice base for the coachella festivities.

How much to get a ride in the party RV?

Last year we had a car service take us to and from the polo grounds but it got a little pricey. And fighting for a cab is just not worth it.

i saw on the local news a few weeks ago that fantasy springs is one of the few hotels to provide FREE shuttle service to the venue for coachella patrons... call the hotel about it and get the details...

Anymore updates on this place? Is it pretty dead or what? What type of folk stay here? Any beautiful promiscuous women?

I reserved a room in Oct when they announced the dates for $180/night and now they're $500+. There's gotta be something about this place. Are the pillows made out of weed?

I was contemplating canceling it in favor of getting a room at "Music Loves Fashion" (http://musiclovesfashion.com/) but since I'm getting such a good deal I don't want to.

I stayed there 2 years ago, it was very quiet, no private parties but pretty nice, cool rooms and good service, I liked their bar by the pool.

So I enjoyed Fantasy Springs. Would I pay the price they were charging ($500/night). HELL NO (unless I was rich). It's a mini-casino (slots & most games, I didn't see roulette) with some decent architecture, a nice pool, a bowling alley, a starbucks, a event center (for concerts), a night club (didn't see it open though) and pizza place that stays open at ALL hours which is key considering how late I got in most nights. It's close to the venue and you can get a private shuttle to take you to the venue ($40) and pick you up ($40) so it's best to try and get a group to leave and come back together.

The casino is the worst of all. Many tables have been removed and replaced with penny slot machines that cost $4.50 a spin. The tables that are left are often crowded, but the dealers seem pretty nice. They work hard and it seems almost no one tips them and yet they are polite and knowledgeable to the guests.

sorry to reignite an old ass thread... but. I'm going to coachella this year for the second time, last year i stayed at the campgrounds and had an amazing time.. not much sleep though with the sun beating down on my tent in the early hours.. but well worth it. i might end up tenting it again.. except this time i combined coachella with a visit of a family and friends in colorado so my mom will be coming along and she is going to stay at the Fantasy Springs..so i wanna know is this hotel filled with hot women and cool party peeps or is it yuppyville? what would you advise me to do? tent it or chill in the hotel?

I'm camping & I have two rooms at the hotel for my wife and [older] friends. I've stayed there every year since '04 with last year being the exception. The hotel is filled with adults. Not much partying but your mom will love it.

I love the place. It's very close to Coachella. Great room service, clean towels, hot food, & nice pool. Great place to chill. You really can't go wrong.

Shouldn't be a problem if you smoke in the bathroom & keep the door closed. Just use common sense. If it gets too smokey, open a window. Bring some incense.

I stayed there a few years ago, and it was a pretty great experience. Room was nice and enjoyed the pool. Never had a problem with noise, except when the club was going off on Saturday night on the top (12th) floor (I was on the 10th floor), but even then, it wasn't that bad... plus I was too tired that night to be kept up by the faint sounds of American Top 40 pop music.
