werd.

break beat is really different than broken beat. broken beat kinda sounds like a broken break-beat. ha. my friend has a few tracks that he plays once in a while, and hear some dj's spin it once in a while (mainly dub-step dj's, although i have heard house dj's spin it). but i couldnt name one broken beat track cause idk the names of any. i dont know of any dj's that spin strictly broken-beat sets, not to sure if that would be a good idea either...... i like it though. especially with a little dub-step and breaks.

i'm not quite sure what to make of 'broken beat' buuuuuut; if it sounds like what i think it does... i've seen some good tracks in the "electronic/dance" (dont let the naming phase you..all kinds of dub and beat stuff here) of scissorkick.com

i thought glitch is more hip hop, using lyrics and shit, where as brokenbeat is more focused on the beat itself? not sure at all really.

one way or another, if its murdah, its murdah.

I don't recall Beth Gibbons liking labels all that much. Like, say, "trip-hop."

no, because there is actually another subgenre called Glitch-Hop. Pure glitch focuses on the use of actual audio glitches to make the beats. Glitch-op...adds the rhymes

i only know that because I was listening to an eDit mixtape last year and saw the genre was glitch, which I didn't know anything about and decided to do some research and saw that like everything else there's like a buttload of weird subgenres of it
