Yes it is. I'm also going to add Farrah to mine. Substitute for Goodman. I totally didn't want to waste a 60+ vote on her before but then reading these I realized she's ONLY 60, so she belongs in the 50-60 category. Maybe I should change these to read 0-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61 +. What do you guys think?

either way stallone turns 61 this summer. at which point you'd lose him. why have someone for only half a year?

i myself had interpreted 50-60 to mean people "in their 50s" and had written off the overlap in age categories as just a bit of sloppiness on the part of the organizer, it being intuitively obvious what was intended.

One way to get past the "everybody is taking my entries" bit is to, well first have secret entries revealed only after the deadline. That would mean no "stealing" but there'd still be shared entries.

And the way to try to discourage that is to say something like there's 100 points total for each person 0-29. If five people pick Lil Wayne and he kicks it then they each get 20 points. If vinyl is the only one that picks Lil Wayne then vinyl gets all 100 points. That value would be adjusted based on how many total entries there were, of course. Or some other sort of inverse pointage awarded.

Tev, eh.

I will work on an entry. Right now it would just be picking from y'all's entries and that seems weak.

If a person dies who is in any board member's death pool, you are allowed to submit a new list or make changes to your list at that time and at that time only.

Does this mean that if someone from your list dies that I get to revise my list? This I don't like so much.

Also does this mean that if someone on your list dies you can chalk up those points and then add another person in that age range to make more points? Because this I really like.

I'm just askin, is all. I'm in whatever the rules are.

I can't believe Steve-O made it through the entire year. And Osama just depresses me further.Otherwise I'm happy everyone else was alive and kicking at the end of '07.

I propose doing this again this year. Anyone else want to start the topic or shall I? I say that to settle confusion over ages is just make it the year of birth. So if someone was born in 1978, he would count in the 30-39 category, even if his 30th birthday isn't until December. Is that good?

I just mentioned in the Britney Spears thread in the misc. lounge that I bet she won't last the year.
