I thought about that but drum & bass i think needs its own because some DnB heads don't listen to much more electronic music. i've noticed at most weekly events and one off jungle events it is a completely different crowd, more of a hip hop style, so i figured it should stand alone.

I went to respect with Donald on Turkey Day, wasn't my first respect by any means but it was my first to chill at with donald. The vibe at respect is unlike the vibe at any other jungle event for sure, the closest thing i've seen to it was the LTJ Bukem show upstairs at vanguard.

on a side note, glad to see this thread got bumped, i lost faith in it a while back when it died.

I think the track Showdown is dope too. Either way, if you dont like I can respect that. As long as DnB gets the support it needs im straight, because the kind of electronic music thats getting big right now I really dont approve of (Euro-trance shit)

I've listened to the album and I just don't even consider it real drum n bass anymore, i've been listening to D'n'B for some time now and i know when i don't like something. El Hornet doing a DJ set is 10x better than their live set, and it's still not that great of a set. Right now when it comes to drum n bass i've been busting out my older sets, like Aphrodite's cd Urban Jungle, and i've been craving seeing a set like that live but nobody spins sets like that anymore. I still love to see new acts, just not acts like Pendulum but to each his own.
