I feel like a reunion of that magnitude would be too big to not headline. Or maybe I'm just so in love with the kinks that I want the longest set possible

much like MBV & Pixies, it would be a big deal, but not the draw to be given headliner status... and that's okay.

I'm calling this........now this would be amazing.....

Ray and Dave back together.....

In December 2009, Ray Davies spoke again about the possibility of reuniting with his brother Dave. "I suggested he do some low-key shows to see how well he can play. If we're going to play together again, we can't hit the road straight away with a big-time announcement ... But, if Dave feels good about it and there's good new material that we can write, it'll happen."

the kinks are my favorite band of all time
but I don't think it will ever happen
last time dave had anything to say it was this
“It would be like a poor remake of ‘Night of the Living Dead,’ ” Dave wrote about a possible reunion. “Ray has been doing Karaoke Kinks shows since 1996.”

you can't 'call it' when i already did back in December...

for the record, i'd take 'karaoke Kinks', i don't give a fuck, i'm sure Nick Mason called Roger Waters at Chella 'karaoke Floyd', Ringo called McCartney 'karaoke Beatles' and Marr called Morrissey 'karaoke Smiths'...

who gives a fuck?

There's many and I believe there may be a thread on this but since you know the hits I would go with The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society (deluxe) It's a very British record so have a cuppa!

I'd say get Lola Vs. Powerman and the Moneygoround
basically the birth of punk rock lyrical style, and some of the best tunes of all time

That's a bummer. However, I watched Glastonbury 2010 today and Ray Davies killed it. It would be nice to see him get an afternoon slot.
