from what I've read, this tour with Jane's Addiction could be the last tour NIN will ever have, anyone want to take some wild stabs at why?

Their fans have goten dumber over the years. Example. There's already an existing NIN thread.

Im not really a fan, I'm just interested. And in my defense there are thousands of threads on here, I really don't feel like searching through all of them. If you'd like to use your mind reading powers and bring up all the threads I feel I might want to post something in then be my guest.

This is rumored to be their last tour.

This isn't common knowledge by now?

Reminds me of that post about those girls who wondered when NIN was going on stage while Janes was performing.

There is a search button at the top of the forum. You go to advanced and can search the title of a thread only. It's not that difficult.

Trent has said this is it for at least a really long time. He left the door open but it seems pretty definite that at minimum it's going to be a few years if ever again.

i got tickets to the NIN/JA show in San Diego last weekend. it was pretty bad. both bands were technically good, but other than perry ferrel, none of the performers seemed to be having a good time. just not a very fun show. i get the feeling that it's all about the paycheck at this point.

if this is the last NIN tour ever, that's probably for the best.

Don't you people know that "last tour ever" means "see you in 5 years"?

Um, I don't know what the fuck you're all talking about with the criticism of the NIN performances. Both the PHX and Irvine shows were superior to either of the LITS tour shows I caught. And Jane's was pathetically outclassed by their opener.

Dunno what the fuck show you saw at Irvine, I saw some bullshit and a terrible sound system. Even the POND show for the fragile tour had better sound in comparison to the Irvine show on the 20th. Irvine is just terrible though, I was disappointed.

Best NIN tour WITH Teeth @ Soma. Tiny venues.

Try getting better seats, or not expecting so much out a fucking outdoor 25000 person venue. Sounded fantastic from the Orch.

Win. Trent goes and plays husband/family man for a few years. When he returns fans lose their shit and it's the second coming of Christ. They headline all the big festivals, stage a tour and make money hand over fist.

I was like 10 rows back and to the right of the sound stage, and i kept mentioning to headstruck how great it sounded.
