I like to think of all the little quakes as farts...the more that occur, the less likely we get really shit on in the future.
Although a 5.0 is a pretty big fart for L.A...Hope everyone is okay!

I was at California Adventure stepping out of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride. I was still in the building walking out of the actual elevator into the hall that looks like a hotel room that goes to the stairs that lead to the hallway exit. And then suddenly the whole place started to shake.

For a second a thought, is this part of the ride as you are exiting through the building?

Even better than the earthquake is the earthquake coverage.

"We're here in Long Beach at this drapery storefront where you can see the front window has been broken as a result of the earthquake." They would show the store front from the ground, then from a helicopter, then they showed the picked up glass in the trash bin. I love when they have nothing to talk about. They just keep talking and talking and talking.

Don't know if you are on crack, but that was a 3.9 in the same place as the first one.

They just updated it to a 4.1, there was an aftershock of 2.5 a couple minutes later.

It breaks my heart a little when a vulnerable young she-dolphin is caught at a weak moment and offered plastic Mardi Gras beads by a guy in a ballcap in exchange for allowing herself to be immortalized nude on the internet. What is this world coming to?

Mammary slits.

BlackSwan
05-19-2009, 04:20 PM
Usually if the dolphin has mammary slits it is a female; however, there have been a few cases where males have mammary slits as well! You can be sure by determining the distance between the umbilicus, genital opening and the anus. If the umbilicus, genital opening and anus are evenly spaced the dolphin is a male, if the genital opening is closer to the anus than the bottlenose dolphin is a female.
