NPR is premiering Jason Lytle's (formerly of Grandaddy) first solo album 'Yours Truly, The Commuter'

Been a fan of Grandaddy since the moment I first heard their music. I was terribly disappointed when they broke-up and failed to tour behind their last album, but knew the lead singer was going to put together something fantastic. And it's here!..

Just got done listening to it. I think Grandaddy fans will be pleased with this. The first three tracks and "It's the Weekend" are great. Thanks for the heads up.

Ah, cool.

I'm hoping he makes an appearance at Outside Lands Festival.

Love Grandaddy and I was sad when they broke up, so I'm glad to hear that Jason Lytle is releasing a solo album. I've yet to hear it in it's entirety and the only song I've heard is Birds Encouraged Him, but I really like it.
