i went in on Thursday to hang out in the campgrounds for a bit. While waiting for the girl with the ability to bust open your aorta with a mere thought to get out of a meeting, i walked the Polo Field as some people were setting up. Here is some evidence from that walk:

Dammit...I missed your appearance in the campground setup shoot AND the Board Member meetup!!! We were one of the first to setup because, well, because FrozenPilgrim couldn't stand waiting for Coach any longer after Pete picked him up, and I had a private party to work do in the PM. Then, between last minute grabs at home and the friggin' traffic coming in, I think it was after midnite by the time I made it back to camp. That was a trip to see the difference between the campground at 10am and then 12+ hours later!


Now I'll check out all the good times I missed...

I had a balloon just like that one on my car all 3 days in the regular parking lot. By the time I got back to my car Sunday night, it was gone. Coincidence? Probably. :)

I like the idea of inflatable furniture. I might have to steal that for 'Roo.

Mike, these pictures really are fantastic. Thursday night in the campground was such a wonderful blur of meeting everyone, drinking and dome dancing the night away. The seemingly unanimous sentiment was, "...and this is just the first night!" It was the perfect way to start the weekend.

They were in the NW part of the field. We were a row over from them, my friend that I came with lives in SLC and was freaking out that there were some fellow Utes there. Also, apparently he felt like he should know them since he goes to almost every show at the Urban Lounge, I made fun of him for this. So I guess one of the folks with the canopy is a librarian at the U and was allowed to borrow it for the weekend.
