Vinyl, god bless you brother, you always keep the board abreast of any and all food recall issues. I still remember when you broke the news about the spinach.

At about 3 pm cnetral time, I was talking to my brother, who was in a grocery store in Charlotte, getting things for his trip to London (he left tonight). He was in the process of looking for Peter Pan Peanut Butter because he had a specific request from some British kids to bring some with him because they don't sell it there. While I was on the phone with him, he kept cussing under his breath because he couldn't find any. "Why don't they have Peter Pan?" he kept saying.

I got back to the office and saw the story online and emailed to him. They eventually figured it out.

i ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich today, before i read about this.

it was the Death Peanut Butter.

so far i'm fine, but WebMD says it generally takes 12 hours to 3 days before you begin experiencing symptoms.

you forget how good pb&j's are until you eat one. i wonder why grilled cheese sandwiches are on restaurant menu's but pb&j's aren't. both are easy to make and are delicious. i would prefer a pb&j at times over a grilled cheese sandwich. i feel like having one now actually

the title of this thread made me laugh a whole lot until i clicked it and was reminded that peter pan was a company and not just an effeminate manchild in tights.

oh well. maybe next time.

i too was misled. i originally thought it was going to be some lame second rate michael jackson pedophile joke with no punchline. much like the one i just told. so i'm not all that disappointed really.

Since "choosy" is not really a word, I think we can forgive him. I would rather consider myself "picky" than "choosy."

I eat real peanut butter, made from 100% organic peanuts, no additives.

This means you spend time mixing the oil that rises to the top. Sounds like your hand is in shape.

Yeah, it takes skill to not coat the countertop with peanut oil. :)
