The concerts will take place in Sydney, Australia; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Shanghai, China; London, England; Kyoto, Japan; Johannesburg, South Africa; and a U.S. city that has yet to be determined, Wall said. Gore added that the campaign even plans to stage the first-ever rock concert on Antarctica.

hahaah he picks some of the hottest cities on the planet and decides Antarctica would probably be a good place to balance the footage.

fa sheezy. he's getting a reality show too.

also paolo nuttini? is that right? playing a SXSW showcase with the stooges AND spoon? and then this? really? WHO is this exactly? big in japan or what?

the pop music business is starting to look more and more like your typical hollywood shell game. you have NO idea who this guy is and by this time next year, he'll be a full fledged celebrity. admit true. or else educate me. thank you.

I've been wondering about Paolo Nutini. Not heard anything about his (her?) music, but this person sold out the Troubadour almost a month in advance

I did see Keane and Snow Patrol on there, but I think they would need a few more decent bands for me to want to go. Radiohead and Portishead, perhaps.
