I have my semi acoustic dropped 3 1/2 steps down...woo, smart. and my SG drop d or standard... great to play Tool plays with....got a nice Peavy amp too and a digitech multi effects pedal....i just play around for fun though, im not in any band.

I don't really own much gear yet, but I got my first amp a few months ago. Fender blues deluxe re-issue 40w. I'm looking to get a reverb or delay pedal next. As far as guitars go I only have a lefty strat but I'm looking into getting a G&L. Probably a bluesboy.

i would highly suggest a holy grail reverb

its great for the price, and its basically all you need

delay pedal, any piece of shit from 50 bucks and up will do

but if you are serious

you should get a giga delay
you can loop short sequences and it makes some weird noises

I think my buddy has the holy grail so I'll be sure to try that out. We also have the giga delay at my work. I just haven't invested much time in it yet, but the looping aspect you mentioned sounds awesome.

i would always go with a "chrome" humbucker in the neck position and a non covered humbucker in the bridge position, also i would wire the bridge pick so you can use it as a single coil also
